The reason some people are Skinny lean

Hey guys ,

This question was bugging my mind recently , as I have suffered all my life with a weight issues ( lean skinny ) , though it didn't have any health ramifications on me , but mostly it was a body image issues ( criticism and bullying ) .

Some people gain weight easily , but to some like me its very hard no matter how much we eat . I am around 60kgs now , though lean and ripped . I thought it could have been a testosterone issue , but I got my testosterone checked and it's at the height of high range .

I was wondering if you guys have some theories on it .

diet : rice 3 times , with lamb , potatoes , sometimes cauliflower ,
break fast ( bread with egg )

Your diet seems quite low in fat? Maybe thats your problem. A couple of tsp of oil is a lot of extra calories. I heard the average american consumes one third of their calories from seed oils. Thats why they are so fat despite not eating high volumes of food.

I eat fat from lamb fat , also I add olive oil when I cook lamb .

Caloric surplus + protein surplus + weights/calisthenics is the proven formula. @jiri is probably the best person to answer this question

@r-2 gain any weight so fat and water is a bad idea. It's better to be skinny lean. But if you want to gain some muscles and you have fast metabolism you have to be in calorie surplus. Most people say "I eat a lot" but they have no idea how many calories they are eating and when they start to track their diet they realize that they are eating not that much.. Use something like cronometer.com and see how many calories are you eating. If you are not gaining weight you need to increase calories obviously.. Macros you need good amount of fats, proteins and carbs. Low fat or low carb doesn't work for skinny people with fast metabolism and of course if you want some muscles lifting weights and avoiding cardio exercise.. I am the opposite case. I can gain weight/muscles in no time, but I want to be light for cycling.. 🙂
