Thiamine deficiency symptoms .

PreviousPage 2 of 2

wow .. thats crazy . I will drop that from tomorrow only

for sure wasn't b2 as I was eating lots of beef . thiamine and folate was certainly deficient. I will try to alternate between lentils /rice and beef/rice after every two days

Look at the lable if there is iron. Yes it is crazy. They use literally iron chips.. The body will not absorb this it will only feed bad bacteria in the colon and cause oxidative damage.. Cereals are ok as a source of some extra calories IF they are fortified only with B vitamins and calcium for example.. But most brands have insane amount of iron, vit A etc.. It almost looks like a tool to control human population heh.. Btw lentils with beef is a bad combination. I eat red meat only with white rice nad if I eat legumes never with the meat and with fat. Espeically not with harder to digest meat like beef.. Try buckwheat for example. Easy to digest, great source of minerals...

Hi @r-2,

Thanks so much for posting your update, and it’s great to hear that you were able to resolve your symptoms so quickly.

RE: I know your diet is mostly beef and kidney beans and brown rice . What do you do for other vitamins and minerals like vitamin K, E, C , potassium and calcium ??

Actually, I stopped eating the kidney beans several years ago, and have been using black beans since. I don’t supplement with any vitamins and minerals. I occasionally include coconut water in my diet. The regular water here has a good amount of calcium in it, so that’s really my only source other than from the beans.  But, what I do should not influence what other people do. I think everyone needs to find what works best for themselves.

@ggenereux2014 pls can you include to your next blood work also ceruloplasmin? I am really curious what is your number. Since everybody thinks that vit A is necessary for ceruloplasmin synthesis..

Hi @jiri,

Sure, I can try to get the ceruloplasmin tested; but it probably won't be until August.

Thanks for the reply @jiri @ggenereux2014

I was also wondering if fiber is something I require for detox and would it be an issue to health if I don't consume heavy fiber content . I am been having intense intestinal issues since I started with lentils , I cant tolerate them , before toxicity happened I used to tolerate them well , but only after I over dose on retinol , the digestive issues started happening to become more prominent

I am probably going to give up on lentis and start with beef/chicken , buckwheat , brown/red rice , sunflower seeds , macadamia nuts, egg whites for b2 ( they are a. good source of b2 ) , brown bread .

before having this issues of thiamine and folate thing , but intestines on meat and rice were working so well . Stool size , texture and everything else was well balanced .

I might as well take a small does of B complex once a week just to be balanced . Perhaps with this diet the only thing I lack in is folate , I am only getting like 50 % of RDA on this diet , if I don't consume lentils

Don't worry about B vitamins on this diet without legumes.. Just take B complex 3x times a week.. Also on diet like this you have maybe excess of fiber. Btw fiber from seeds and nuts can damage the gut walls. If your mucus in colon is compromised due to vit A toxicity.. So chew your seeds and nuts to liquid form... But I wouldn't eat sunflower seeds. They are very high in omega 6 which is not good.. Macadamia nuts are ok.. Btw you can eat also other meats like pork, turkey, also sardines are good.. Potatoes and some banana are also ok..
