Thyroid labs

I was recently asked to get a thyroid and testosterone lab test. Here are the results.

The testosterone level of 17.8 nmol/L is 513 ng/dL.

Too bad that we don't know how it looked 2-4-6 years ago.. It would be interesting to see the pattern if it goes down, up or stays the same..

@jiri At least we know nothing has gone wrong! I see this glass is half full!

Interesting. I wonder how that testosterone is when the range is adjusted for your age, or is it already adjusted?

When you make it to ten years you should do every blood test available to complete the experiment. I'm sure people would help pay for this I sure would

Hi @sam,

I think that is an as measured value; not adjusted.

I would say that everything has gone right for Grant. Had this diet been deficient or detrimental to his testosterone and thyroid we would have definitely seen it after six years. Very encouraging results!

@ggenereux2014

I have one more request: could you check your morning temperature (best orally)? After waking up but before getting out of bed and avoiding bigger movements. Maybe even for few days and getting average.

Could it be that after removing most vitA from body something change in the metabolism? And research on metabolism should also take into account how much vitA is consumed in provided diet? Basically, I'm starting to doubt that I understand anything anymore.

Hey @tim-2

what's your thought on this , I remember once reading your post saying that low levels of Vitamin A would lead to thyroid and testosterone malfunction .
