update accutane recovery

PreviousPage 2 of 2

@orion

I am searching for a good source of soluble fiber with no vitamin A, the problem is that beans and oats are quite problematic with my IBS ...
I would love to know your journey with accutane and low vitamin A recovery if you accept.

Thanks again for the disponiblity

@philippe  beans and oats used to cause me lots of IBS symptoms.  With oats went low and slow, worked up to 1/2 cup dry oats cooked each morning, and seems to continue to improve digestion.  It takes years of going slow.   I stopped beans for the last year and will attempt to reintroduce then soon, as oats are giving improvements.

Two others to try are psyllium and sun fibre, and again start with very small amounts and go by digestion, energy and sleep reactions.

It is a cycle,  fiber helps VA out, VA out causes issues...

I had severe cramping a few days after eating soluble fiber and it never got better, so it would cycle every 5 days I'd get cramping bowel movements that was worse than child birth. I was able to introduce beans after using charcoal morning and night and I was also doing coffee enemas. Zero cramping ever since. I have not tried oatmeal yet, but brown rice was fine.

@orion

Out of curiosity, for how long have you been on a low vitamin A diet ? Have you noticed improvements with accutane side effects ?

@philippe  about 5 and half years now doing low VA.  Main issues were digestion, sleep and skin, they all improve along with body composition and libido.

@orion

Did you experienced detox setback ?

@philippe Not sure to be honest,  I have not experienced anything drastic, mainly things like more disturbed sleep or digestion once in awhile.
