Using A.I. for vAe encouragement. Anyone else??
On vAe 2.5 years (but not perfect). Recently started using A.I. chat to discuss/learn details of vAe. Wonderful benefits to doing that and I recommend to anyone seeking more depth of understanding on this topic. (I'm using Anthropic Claude Opus 4.6, with very good results.)
Now started a personal A.I. "project" using Opus, so I can "train" it with all of Grant's books, his blog essays, and anything else I can find on this topic. For example, I queried DeepSeek A.I. (China) about which nutritional supplements are compatible/incompatible with vAe. DeepSeek's response is in my project.
Essentially creating a private, limited-scope, LLM that an A.I. bot can query and analyze -- and then discuss in chat. Just started building the project (12 Feb 2026) , so no chat experience yet.
Anyone else doing this or thinking seriously about doing it?? Could be useful to compare experiences and, perhaps, share data inputs. Ive been feeding chatgpt all my lab results, questions, theories, and observations the past year or so and it's been helpful in interpretting labs and connecting observations to things we talked about months ago. That said, its very much designed to tell me I'm wonderful and that everything I'm doing is correct so it's real easy to get stuck in your own assumptions. For that reason I'd caution you against telling it to only make suggestions based on Grant's books. Also, chatgpt seems to be fully aware of the low vitamin A movement and that high levels of vitamin A can be damaging so there's probably no need to force the robot to promote low vitamin A.
I am refusing to jump on the AI train. It might be good at pattern recognition, but so are humans.

Legalman on twitter and youtube did a great breakdown on a topic with LLM systems. He treats as a lawyer treats contrary dishonest witnesses. Only ask questions he already knows the answer to. It is a lot of work as the system weedles around avoiding admitting heinous facts.
