Vitamin A/ Accutane overdose side effects similiar to vitamin A deficiency?

I have wondered this for a while but the side effects from from vit A/ accutane overdose are pretty much similiar to the side effects expected froma vitamin a deficiency, so i wonder if it is possible that the body somehow stops absorbing any vitamin a or shuts down somehow due to the overdose and is unable to absorb, which would explain the similiar symptoms? Just seems strange to me that the side effects be so similiar..

There is no paradox... Its simply an error in the expirements. Vitamin A deficiency symptoms are just retinoic acid poisoning. Grant goes over this in his books.
