Vitamin C and Elderberry
Quote from Guest on March 2, 2019, 7:35 pmI've been trying to find vitamin c chewable that both me and my children can have. Finding it really hard to find simple ones here in NZ. They've either got dodgy colours or artificial sweeteners. Usually both. Also a lot have citrus bioflavonoids which I'm unsure about.
I finally found one that looked good but it does has echinacea and elderberry powder in it.
I thought being a purple Berry that elderberries would be OK but found on a couple of websites that it has quite a lot of beta carotene. This unfortunately was after I paid for it.
Not sure it's worth taking now. Does anyone know of chewable vit c that are vitamin a detox friendly?

Quote from Guest on March 2, 2019, 11:46 pmI wouldn't take chewable vitamin c, it's very acidic and can harm your teeth, because when you chew it, it remains longer on the teeth compared to drinking it you just swallow.
I mix pure ascorbic acid powder with natron (NaHCO3) in water and Apple juice. So the ph is higher and my teeth are safe.

Quote from Matrixik on March 3, 2019, 3:34 amIn Poland I found version that have neutral ph: Magnesium ascorbate. Tested with universal indicator, almost the same colour like pure water (I did not test with distilled water but normal drinking water). So two in one: vitamin C and magnesium.
