Vitamin D.. Toxic as well??

Man supplementing between 8,000 to 12,000 iu a day for 2 years. Suffers kidney problems and excess calcium. I have seen people take much higher and I was too at one point

I took 5000iu for 3 months and since then my health went down the drain quick and still recovering.  But I also had been eating a very high vitamin A diet for a year.  The combination of high A and D is far worse than one or the other.  Overdose on D can happen very easily through suppliments because it goes through a different pathway then D from sunlight.

As for people taking more with out issues, I think their just lucky their bodies can handle the overload better.

There's a lady that says she's been taking 20,000 ius of vitamin A for years and seems to be ok.
