Vitamin E and vitamin A

I have not found a separate branch on vitamin E, but I would like to point out that we now know why vitamin E supplements increase vitamin A levels in the liver - VE inhibits the synthesis of RBP.

So it's advisable not to take vitamin E ?

Earlier I had read VitE dumps more vitamin A in the bloodstream , was wondering if taking vitamin E before blood donations would be somewhat helpful

I think we need vitamin E, but it's better to stick to a low dose. From what I've seen, VE prolongs life only in low doses (maybe 400 UI per week).

Btw, in this study VA reserves in the liver and serum levels are NOT correlated (although there are chickens here, not people)
