What Deficiencies Could We Get On This Diet?

I chuckle when I see high-cost foods advertised as low calorie. Derp. Get less fuel for more money!
Anyways, my new theory is that detox cycles happen when we burn fat cells, releasing VA. If you aren't eating enough calories to keep up with a surge of activities, you may experience a detox cycle. No Fun.
So (if you want comfort!) don't be deficient in the number one reason why we eat: CALORIES!
Yes I agree about calories, we are supposed to eat calorie dense food.
The fat cell theory makes some sense but Im just not sure we have enough in our fat to cause symptoms. If a liver is very high in va say it has 1000 mcg/g imagine how easily excess would be released when the biochemical signals were sent that the body was low in va, it would be like an avalanche.
This was the line from the study about arctic explorers that got me thinking: "...due to the mobilization and utilization of body fat that often occurs under these circumstances and the resultant release of vitamin A stores into the circulation"
Now, he could have just been fantasizing or maybe it really is a thing that when body fats are utilized that VA stores are released. I don't know enough to say. But if we put on adipose purposefully to STORE VA, (as many have suggested) then I would expect that the reverse happens when we UNSTORE the fat. Under the microscope, fat blobs are yellow...
Ok, so let's say your liver is working on tightly controlling the level of VA in the blood. So you've got your base level going.
Now, lets say a bunch of fat cells, far away from the liver, are hit up for energy. Are the fat cells smart enough to worry about the VA levels in the blood? I bet they are NOT thinking about controlling the level of VA in the blood. They are thinking about supplying energy. And so a bunch of VA is unloaded on top of what is already in the blood.
I'm thinking that we have more adipose than we have liver? What if we loose 3 pounds in 2 weeks (like I did?) A human liver weighs 3 pounds.

This is very interesting and I think that it is a good idea to eat carbohydrates frequently during the vit A detox to minimize release of vit A from the fat cells. Once liver stores are low. You can drop some body fat.. Btw the color of body fat really is yellow. You can see from photos on the internet of dead people from car crashes etc. their fat is yellow. Interestingly pork is very low vit A and has snow white fat... I think this was my problem as well.. I eat very clean and lower calorie for my activity level. I will try to eat more rice and meat. If it helps with symptoms of vit A detox...
