Who else has low serum A?
Quote from dan on March 28, 2020, 10:43 pmHas anyone besides Grant announced serum Vitamin A levels far below the normal range? Or has claimed to have eaten a low Vitamin A diet for over three years and might be willing to get their serum level tested?
Maybe we could ask on "carnivore diet" (all-meat) forums. They might have low serum Vitamin A if they've avoided liver.
If a few volunteers are willing to share their name, photograph, diet, health history, and serum blood level results as Grant has done, I expect that a health/science journalist would find it a credible story.

Garrett Smith has been testing his patients serum vitamin A levels:

I wish someone would do an actual study on this with a large number of people—it’d be super interesting to see if there are healthy people out there (carnivores or whoever) with extremely low serum vitamin A levels.
I’ll try to get mine tested soon, if I can, but I expect it’s still normal or even high at this point. Have you been tested?
