Etiopathogenic factors of autoimmune diseases in the 21st century

The NatGeo link asked me to subscribe.  I already get enough USAID / CIA propaganda.  The other links looked like the usual shills who sold us pharma sorcery, coophid propaganda and vitamin A as a nutrient.

Kind of surprised the credibility of these folk has not been called into question more given what we learned about vaccinology, virology and nutrition fraudulent science in the last ten years.

Meme: Robin "Trust the Science."  Batman slapping Robin "Questioning Science is Science."

Hmm!   I don't have any problem believing that women are more prone to "auto-immunity" issues than men.   (In other words, having damage to organs from VA overload and other toxicity).   I think men are more likely to create a "beer belly" in which to store all that toxicity after the liver is full.      It's not the best, but I wouldn't be surprised if it puts off so-called "auto-immunity".   Women are more likely to store the fat all over.

I remember a guy, I know I repeat myself... He was young, about 20 and already had a "beer belly".    He was an aerobics instructor!   That belly was not budging.

Example:   if I take the disease MS, I've known 3 or 4 women with it, and only one man.

I guess the men end up with beer-belly-diabetes-and-heart disease, which really doesn't get put into the same bucket as auto-immunity but maybe should?

Feels similar to heart attacks.  Consensus (notice I did not say science) used to be that women do not get heart attacks and men do.  This was back in the day when standard of care was complete bed rest immediately and for a long time after heart attack.  They had 70% plus mortality rate with that.  Then along came Norman Cousins and destroyed that standard of care.  Proved out and changed consensus to current standard - make that sucker walk as soon as he is awake and able to after surgery.  Keep him walking.  Walking immediately and forever after turned mortality rate around to like 30%.  Took another 20 years before female complaints about heart attacks started being heard.

Even now, ER's are only adjusting to facts that female heart attack symptoms are different than males.  Betting it is something different on autoimmunity diseases.
