Why I believe that I have vitamin A poisoning

I am lily white and my skin would always get red in the sun ... I don't think that this changed much while vit A toxic or not, but there may have been increased sensitivity, sure, .... as to how much sun I got: back then I had a south-facing and very private and big balcony, so I would sun tan there regularly during the summer ... which is likely why my vit D levels were always in the normal range with zero supplementation ...

Yes a meat heavy diet can provide enough choline. However, if people aren’t eating a meat heavy diet for many reasons (I personally don’t digest meat well) they need to be aware that lack of choline is an issue and could be the cause of a ‘detox setback cycle’. I’ve done a thread on factors affecting possible likelihood of a choline deficiency. I say quite clearly there that a meat based diet should provide adequate choline. I actually see this as the big divide between those that do well and those that don’t. Grant has been asking for a long time why carnivores don’t get detox setback cycles. Choline ticks the boxes. Many people are doing a vA detox without eating loads of meat. These are the people in danger imo. This is the current best theory.
Meat also ticks another box: rich in bioavailable zinc.

What some interpret as making the detox safe, may be simply induced cholestasis from the vit A in the eggs ... I know cholestasis makes me feel FANTASTIC, something I can induce at will with a high fat diet.
A while back, a few voices were touting high fat carnivore as the second coming of christ and now there's choline being the best thing since oxygen, which can apparently only be acquired from eggs. I find neither approach to be particularly sound dietary advice.
I think you're right regarding cholestasis. I've pondered if the increased VA intake from eggs alleviates the sometimes painful detox cycle by simply halting any and all progress, even reversing it in some cases. I don't understand why they don't just supplement with choline if they're deficient. It's the fastest way to fix any deficiency really.
