Zero beta-carotene/vitamin A fats/oils?

Which fats do you use? I really need to get more calories on a low A diet, by options seem so limited. Thanks!

Most nuts and seeds are fairly low in beta carotene, with the exception of pistachios:

I limit extra virgin olive oil, because it does contain some carotenoids:

But refined olive oil, sunflower oil, and coconut oil should have practically none.

Thanks very much!

@viktor refined vegetable oils are by far the worst type of food that you can eat and I believe it's the reason for most chronic diseases in modern world. Some good quality olive oil is ok, but stay away from canola, soy, sunflower etc.. It is horrible for you. It's basically nothing just omega 6 pro inflammatory fatty acids with ZERO micronutrients. This type of oil will deplete your B vitamins like B2, biotin etc.. and will cause systemic inflammation.. Meats, starches, some fruits, some nuts like macadamia, cashews.. Very easy to get 3000kcal with foods like that.. Stay away from oils..

How about coconut oil? I've seen conflicting recommendations for it during low A eating

I eat refined bleached. Tasty. I didn't notice any bad reactions to it.

But, perhaps, it can cause constipation.

I'd avoid it due to lauric acid megadose (this is not what is normally come with ordinary diet).
