Bean digestion

I also eat canned beans. So mixed.
All right, I will.
@jiri Okay then I'm less worried about that. My bowel movements became very, very hard and it is a very strong painful pressing. And only every second day. There was a little blood in it for the first time today. Not good. I drink 3.5 -4.5 liters a day, it won't be because of that, even if rice and beans draw a lot of water. Read that a low fiber diet can also lead to this. Definitely have to change something. Before the diet, I had no bowel problems.
Why you drink so much water?? Do you realize that this will make you dehydrated not hydrated? All that water will just flush all electrolytes especially salt from your body and without salt in the blood you can't retain water so you will be dehydrated.. I assume you don't sweat a lot, but pee a lot? Drink if you are thirsty and salt your food to taste. This should help with your hard stool and constipation..

Quote from Joel on May 4, 2020, 8:56 am@jiri I'm extremely thirsty, but I'm bad at guessing, maybe it's only 2.5 to 3.5 liters. Pay close attention to a good salt intake. Maybe you are right too, but I can not imagine that it is due to my drinking amount, since it has always been so and I had no problems before. I'll measure exactly how much I drink a day. I think the cause is fiber.. I also talked to a doctor about my drink amount a time ago and he said it would be okay, just a little bit above the norm. So what is normal 2-3 I guess? Then on normal days I guess I drink 3-3.5 in any case enough that one can say that the problem is not due to too little.

Quote from ggenereux on May 4, 2020, 9:15 amHi Joel,
Actually, my only sources of fiber are the brown rice and black beans. I usually alternate between white and brown rice every other day.
But, I don't have the beans every day, and I fortunately I have no issues when I don't include them.

Quote from Orion on May 4, 2020, 9:58 amGrant being so low in VA storage now, I would assume getting lots of daily fiber is not of the utmost importance. But for us in early detox, as much as you can handle.
@joel I am with @jiri to much water is not a good thing, you are a salt water ocean inside, flushing it with too much fresh water daily not a good thing. Thirst can be deceptive, too much water can make you thirst even more. I drink maybe 500ml water per day, but food and some juice make up the rest.

Quote from lil chick on May 5, 2020, 12:53 pmMy bean digestion has gotten better and better. I suppose you could grind your legumes up into something resembling a dip/creamy peanut butter. I eat peanut butter now, a food that I've avoided for SO LONG. Seems like a real treat.
