Bible and VA
Quote from Даниил on January 11, 2022, 4:01 amrecently I had a thought that haunts me. Eve, who ate an apple. What if it wasn't an apple, but something more obviously carotenoid? For example, an apricot? And then the Bible was rewritten? Thus, we will get a person whose milk will be poisoned by VA, and his children will be poisoned, and all subsequent generations who will eat carotenoids and poison offspring through milk... And so they were "banished from paradise"?
Interestingly, the text repeats "apple" 2 times. Apples grew everywhere, among other things. And there are apples on the forbidden tree. Strange.

Quote from Chris13 on January 12, 2022, 9:42 amNoticing what the Bible foods are recently, they are mostly very low VA foods. Barley is mentioned the most as the grain. Beans are mentioned, figs, honey, are all no Retinol foods. A small amount of carotenoids in any fruit or veg may never get converted to Retinol, and are virtually and probably harmless. Milk was not fortified , meat from animals that chew the cud is almost no VA.

Last year Sunday 14th March 2021 in the Orthodox Calendar was Cheesefare Sunday, also called Forgiveness Sunday. This is the last Sunday before Lent. From that day on until Easter, the faithful must abstain from all dairy products AND eggs. In fact from all animal sources of vA.They are already abstaining from meat (started a couple of weeks before). All details of what they eat and when on a yearly basis you can see in the Calendar of Saints and Feasts here:Please note that there are 3 different Lent periods in that calendar, one Lent before Easter, one Lent before Christmas, one Lent before 15th August for the Mother of God.Of course all the oil is supposed to be olive oil. At no point is bread forbidden.Back to the date: Cheesefare Sunday. Surprise! It is supposed to be in memory of Adam and Eve being thrown out of the Garden! In collections of icons that depict the stories related to the faithful the icon of that day depicts exactly this. SeeAs I said before, there is a strong link between vitamin A and Original Sin. It seems some people were aware of that at least 13 centuries ago.Note that for Orthodox Christians, Original Sin is not a sexual sin, it is called « Propatoriko amartima », the mistake of forefathers. It is a mistake that hurts the descendants of people who ate something by mistake. It is not a sexual mistake, as it has been portrayed in other types of Christian faiths, it is just as described, a life-changing poisoning related to birth, genetics, transmission of the consequences of the mistake to further generations. Related in the Genesis book of the Bible.I realize that by writing this I shall be invited to burn at the stake! By Catholics and Protestant alike! The Greeks took this from the Hebrews, who thought there was a way to get rid of it, but not easy (as we well know….).One way was baptism in the Jordan, Jesus was baptized there by his cousin and baptism at birth or later is a way Christian try to get rid of Original Sin in their children. As I wrote before in my thread about Bain Derivatif https://ggenereux.blog/discussion/topic/a-painless-way-to-detox-bain-derivatif/?part=1, the shiver induced by cold brings out lymph into the gut and helps rid the body of excess retinoids. There is an old Hebrew text in an Armenian version of Genesis with beautiful illustrations showing Adam and Eve trying to get rid of the poison by standing in cold rivers for 40 days:Note that Eve does not have to do 40 days but a few days less (maybe allowing for menstruation that could help women to get rid of it faster?).Unfortunately they don't manage because they stop too soon. Quitters beware! There is also a strong link between vA and Memory, and this name of Forgiveness Sunday seems to underline it. When you stop eating the dairy and eggs you come to a point where memories lose they emotional charge, as we know from experience. Memories do not disappear, there is simply nothing to forgive anymore.Never mind what kind of apple they ate, they ate something that poisoned them and their descendants. If noone in the family does the job of detox, there will be no descendants in the end.The poisoning ensured painful childbirth for the women because the pelvis bones will not stretch if collagen is calcified by vA.Mary the mother of Jesus was born without Original Sin (Immaculate conception does not mean that she was found in a stork's nest but that she was not carrying the poisoning problem of the Original Sin), so Jesus did not carry the Original Sin from his mother at least.Interesting thread here initiated by @joshzEnough for today. 🙂

Quote from Beata on January 25, 2022, 10:44 am@ourania, it is a fascinating post and I still need to go through all the links. Thank you. Occasional fasting is a forgotten art and to our detriment. My 101 years old landlady in Greece fasted frequently and didn’t eat any eggs at all. There is definitely something to consider here.
