About 10 days ago I did try some of those - the molybdeum, E, B1 and B2. I took them for about 5 days but only seemed worse. And I did try B3 flushes back in November and I felt better for the first day or 2 but then back to the same or even slightly worse. I have some selenium around and will look for it. With all the beef I eat I figured I was getting enough zinc but maybe will try it again. I had been taking all the minerals and E you suggested for years before getting really sick but probably not enough to even begin to protect from the A I was taking. I also took some Bs here and there but not that long. Also before, I had tried nutritional yeast but my insomia got worse and it gave me headaches too. I have been hesitant to take supplements since that is what got me into this very bad sick phase but have been more open. It is just hard to know what and how much, etc.... I can't take the headaches anymore so I think I'll keep doing enemas as long as they keep the headaches away but would like to learn more about the nutrients that go along with the detox, etc...
@romaine I wonder if the feeling worse is a good thing(detox), but again hard to tell. I agree with @bludicka low dose is the best approach for Bs/minerals. Can't remember have you done a hairtest to get a mineral status? Hey I also tested apple pectin twice, and it seemed helpful to me(I felt worse on it), seem to rebound off it. Tested it one week at a time, 3 pills before breakfast and 3 before dinner. Did you have any luck with it?
This is a low dose approach to get B1/B2/B12 working, but it is using salts of selenium and molybdenum, author seems to think only these forms will help, but these minerals are very important in the DH path to get VA out. I think going detox to long drains the system, or being in overload too long. Like I have said before vicious cycle.

Quote from Orion on December 19, 2019, 12:27 pm@romaine also have you read all the info on allithiamine at hormonesmatter.com? I think the VA overload and B1 connection is big. I have tested allithiamine 50mg few months ago and get a really strong reaction too it, so stopped, it really fires up my metabolism and I get strong stress reactions from it. Currently testing again this week at a very low dose, few mg per day.

Quote from romaine on December 19, 2019, 12:32 pmI did read some of that article and noted the forms of the minerals suggested but thought that bludicka thought some were bad and to stick with more conventional ones? Some of those recommended supplements in that article seem expensive or hard to source 🙁
I am not sure one way or another if the supplements I took 10 days ago for around 5 days had anything to do with how I felt, just thought I'd note it. The full moon was starting about then and I think I get worse then.
I took up to 4 pectin pills a day and didn't notice a change but maybe will try 6 like you.
Thank you for the advice!

no I have't read about allithiamine but will try to soo.
Also forgot to address HMAT - I did that for 4 years. That is why I took all the supplements I did. I'm really broke right now so can't start up again. I was downsized at work and am too sick to try something new that will probably pay alot less. The hair tests said I was low in zinc but not way way low and copper was higher but in the acceptable range. The blood test I took shortly before crashing said my zinc was extremely low and my copper very high, both out of the normal range. Calcium and magnesium changed but not drastically over the 4 years. (I can't remember anything really changing that much over the 4 years on the hair test results.) Whatever good the other supplements were doing for the high calcium were likely negated by the retinoids I was directed to take.

I do not understand why they prefer inorganic mineral salts (but on the internet is everything possible- good informations mixed with bad) it does not make sense, food sourced is always better. But it is true that many mineral chelates sold are not of good quality when they try to bind an inorganic form of mineral to a protein.
"Update: September, 2002: We now have 14 cases, where "Selenium" dietary supplements claiming to contain L-selenomethionine, have failed to provide any benefits, with half the persons using it reporting adverse side effects. One source told us that to sell selenium for under $2 a bottle, manufacturers have resorted to using the cheapest raw materials they can find and mixing in inorganic selenium and water and then spray drying it. No wonder these "amino acid chelates" are not working because they really are not what they claim to be - amino acid chelates. The real amino acid chelates are produced by nature and found only in plants. The synthesized versions made in labs are not only ineffective, they are not safe to use."
"She added: "For various technical reasons, we have not been able to make amino acid chelates with selenium, boron or potassium." "
"In support of the position that sodium selenite, the inorganic form, should not be used as a dietary supplement, Boik states that the sodium selenite has been "reported to cause DNA strand breaks in cancer cells in vitro, probably via free radicals and/or SAM deficiency, and to induce p53 dependent apoptosis. In contrast, methylselenocysteine and organic related forms act through a different means: they appear to induce apoptosis, independent of DNA damage and p53 activity." Boik also states:
"Of the organic forms, methylselenocysteine, and selenomethionine (plant based) are among those causing the least adverse effects at high doses, since they can be converted directly to methylselenol without methyl donors......Methylselenol is of prime importance to us, since this form seems to be responsible for selenium's anticancer effects in vivo.""

But you can buy now organic food sourced mineral chelates from hydroponic plants - these are true chelates:
boron:
https://www.iherb.com/pr/Vibrant-Health-Super-Natural-Boron-60-Vegetable-Capsules/13121
magnesium:
https://www.iherb.com/pr/Nature-s-Plus-Dyno-Mins-Magnesium-250-mg-90-Acid-Resistant-Tablets/7626
molybdenum:
https://www.bioticsresearch.com/node/1527 (but legumes are rich source of molybdenum)
selenium:
https://www.pureformulas.com/selenium-cruciferate-200-mcg-75-capsules-by-ecological-formulas.html (or Jarrow)
Iodine in seafood is always better than inorganic potassium iodidie (but contamination is a problem).
And sublingual B12 - jarrow works, no reason tu buy expensive B12 oils and patches.

I was on cholestyramine through a Shoemaker certified doctor in Southern California a few years ago when I started getting really sick. Mold illness was my first self diagnosis, then led to EMF's and finally mercury toxicity from a mouth full of amalgams for over 30 years. I took it for two weeks and by the end of it i had a day where I had the best restful sleep that I could remember in a long time. But for some reason I stopped it. Possibly from the major constipation that it caused and possible from eroding teeth enamel. I used a straw even. Then every time I tried to take it again I had really bad symtpoms, die off or something, similar to taking apple cider vinegar and anti-biotics. My body must be completely invaded with mold or bad bacteria. How is your progress on it so far?

Fermenting beans makes them gas free and much more nutritious. I've thought about developing a commercial product however I know that as soon as it became successful a bigger company would come and out compete me. I think though that there are real opportunities for fermented legume products, they could be sold in vacuum sealed packs like tempeh or made into baked beans and canned.
