Condensed Rehash of Wavy Gravy Responses to Common VA Forum Topics

@tricky

What a terrible argument, you can't trust anything 100% therefore what? Nothing is more trustworthy than anything else? What a joke.

So long Timmy, I won't waste my time writing any more responses to you, although there might be some pictorial fun if you persist in your griping.

So now you're sinking to threats of posting images of me?

Let's see it, what have you got?

OMG how are we going to convince Grant to keep the forum open... with you two squabbling?

Huge black pill to swallow seeing people welcoming back and engaging this bad actor.

@tricky

Is VA solely responsible for autoimmune conditions and a wide variety of disease states?

The obvious answer is no, it is not the cause of autoimmunity and other diseases. Just look at people like Paul Saladino, who fixed his eczema on a diet very high in VA from liver and other organs.

You wrote a lot of grandiose verbiage about science like usual yet like usual you show little concern for  a high standard of evidence when it suits you.

Internet influencers should be assumed to be actors, frauds and deceivers because they normally are. One should never involve them in arguments about important health topics. We don't even have evidence that Saladino follows the diet he espouses.

Vitamin A, when consumed and stored in excess, is absolutely a cause of autoimmunity. I know that due to understanding the physiological chain of events that take place in Hypervitaminosis A.

Like @jiri has pointed out what is far more guaranteed about Saladino than the diet he consumes is that he is outside surfing each day depleting his vitamin A. Anyone that has spent time in a subtropical location swimming in the sea each day will tell you how amazing they felt. He's living the life grifting off of people like you that buy his special tallow.

@tim-2

Yep, influencers are just that, influencers.  So many liars out there.

"He's living the life grifting off of people like you that buy his special tallow."

Haha!

"If one forced to eat only meat is given the opportunity to eat a meal of just rice or potato they will probably select that as long as they aren't brainwashed by carnitardism"

LOL! It is a diet fad, though I am still looking for success stories of reversing obesity and insulin resistance with carbs. Is the golden ratio effective? like less than 15% fat? It seems those who eat in the middle moderate fat and higher carbs don't lose any weight no matter how hard they try. My husband already tried beef and rice to lose weight he was making a little progress, but not that much. He is someone who believes he needs high protein and craves meat, it would be very hard for him to do the rice diet. On the contrary many many success stories of huge amounts of weight loss on keto.  The problem is... it doesn't reverse insulin resistance and you could gain it all back if you ever wanted to do moderate fat higher carb. Which was very clearly evidenced by Jessica's failure on the 'low vitamin A diet' as she is insulin resistant.

But ya'll.... Grant is shutting this down 🙁  no one has come up with another group?

@lil-chick

You are welcoming and engaging someone that Grant banned. You are undermining Grant's sound decision. How is that encouraging Grant to keep the forum up?

Gadzooks has indicated he has images of me stored on his computer. Don't you find that a little strange? You couldn't care less. You are displaying amoral and poor judgement.

My bad for talking to him. I knew it would result in a debate and yet I did it anyway because I'm struggling in my life right now, and talking on the internet is my escape. Friend code, don't be friends with someone who is actively attacking your friends. Rebuke them! So anyway are you on any other forum Tim? This forum ended in a sh*t show lol.

I thought of creating a Subreddit but what's the point?

There's a saying: No good deed goes unpunished. There's a lot of truth to it.

Grant is learning that.

There's no incentive for someone competent to moderate a group and provide good research.

Substack isn't optimal because it incentives regular content, it doesn't incentivise improving people's health.

Who TF wants to read endless content when they just want to be well?

In the past a shaman or druid was incentivised by his tribe to keep his kin well.

If someone tries that on the internet they will soon learn that there is little reciprocation.

For healers to exist those seeking healing would need to generously give after they have received benefit. It doesn't happen.

@tim-2

Yeah I understand why this always ends badly. But we are still here chatting right? 🙂 So is there any other place you go to talk to people on the internet? I quit facebook, instagram, and twitter although I never liked twitter. This was the only place I found some likeminded people, there's a few on raypeatofurm  mosaic  is cool, purple pill, peater, lilraw though she disappeared and a few others. Who will I talk to about vitamin A?!

I think there is something to be learned from each and every progress report.   They are probably one of the most important things here.   They turn Grant's experiment of 1 to something that will get more attention.

I've been in situations like the Tim-and-Wavy dispute, and strangely enough... That person who was my "frenemy" on another site, well I think about things she said TO THIS DAY.   Some of what she said WAS RIGHT.   Some of it was important for me to hear.

I know exactly what you mean, Tim, that you feel that no one is taking your side.    Or that by talking with your frenemy they are against you.   However, you must get back to why people come here.   They don't come here to get pulled into arguments.   They feel like crap and are looking for support and info.

To get back to the topic at hand: Wavy's progress.  I think sometimes, when I hear about someone still detoxing hard...after many years... I wonder if it's worth it.   Are you giving up young years to gain old years?   Would it be better to let sleeping dogs lie (in cases that aren't fatal at least)?   Is there a place for moderation?
