I needed to disable self sign-ups because I’ve been getting too many spam-type accounts. Thanks.
Do we need rice when we've got black beans?

I think I was just hoping eventually the gut barrier would repair enough that those things would be okay. Your explanation perfectly matches my experience though. I’m finally trying to come to terms with the reality of a long term restricted diet if I want to maintain my health. I’m done living in denial.
@Bella I also have celiac so assume I have a damaged gut. Do you think you will ever ease up on holidays and celebrations or when travelling? I don't mind eating really restrictive except on special occasions- I hope all of can have some more freedom when eating one day.
Not at this point simply because I have eased up in the past and it just isn’t worth it to me anymore. I’ll be 50 soon though so I don’t feel like taking unnecessary chances if that makes sense.

Quote from tim on May 24, 2019, 4:02 amI recommend eating a variety of low A foods with a balance of meats and starches with lesser amounts of beans (I know they are starchy but I don't get the urge to make them a primary starch), nuts, fruits and vegetables. Let your instincts be your guide.
