Exercise
Quote from Guest on January 7, 2019, 7:48 pmI have been low VA for about 2 months now. Prior to starting I have had muscle tension/tightness/pain/stiffness that was getting increasingly worse. I would liken it to being clamped in a vice and having it tighten a bit each day. There are other symptoms, but this has been my chief complaint.
I have not consistently done cardio for probably 15 years although I am fairly active otherwise. Lately I have been starting my day with a 15-20 minute run. I do not enjoy it; however, I am really enjoying the benefits. I feel like it is accelerating the VA depletion as I had been feeling like things may have been stalled. I don't know if the progress will continue or if this is just a fluke, but I feel so much better on the days I exercise.
What are others experiencing with regard to exercise?

Quote from Guest on January 7, 2019, 8:30 pmThanks for the inspiration! I used to do cardio daily but got out of the habit when I started not feeling well but the not feeling well got worse so I think the cardio did help to keep it at bay. I have had muscle soreness and stiffness in my legs for awhile (started after me not doing cardio) so that made me want to do cardio even less, though I know I should, especially now knowing about how it can decrease vA.

Quote from Liz on January 7, 2019, 10:16 pmI have not been able to exercise much the past 5 years or so due to every cell in my body screaming STOP and overall feeling week. This has been torture for me who used to weight train 5 days a week and run mararhons.
The other day I went for a run and it felt amazing, my body did not ache and I did not get exhausted. Last time I tried was 3-4 months back. Clearly some positive changes has ocurred. I also noticed foamy urine that day after the run.

Quote from DWL on February 1, 2019, 4:39 pmi find it interesting that Grant bicycles several miles each day. Exercising is likely a major part of his detoxing success. Are not toxins moved throughout the body by way of lymph (the major means)? Is anyone else sensing that lack of exercise is slowing down their healing progress?

There was a promoter named Al Carter who traveled around the country peddling rebounders. I had a VHS tape of a lecture he recorded where he showed a microscope-video of white blood cells "swimming" to the source of an infection. He said they got stronger through inertial resistance on each bounce cycle. Literally, every cell in the body is experiencing the same he said.
It's really a low-impact way to exercise and is great for older folks, with an optional hand-rail for support. I like the one built in Nebraska by Needak. They last over ten years easy.

Quote from DWL on February 2, 2019, 4:01 amJohn, the video info is interesting! I purchased a rebounder last year, but soon loaned it to my son's family to test. I retrieved it a couple of weeks ago and am exercising daily, but not nearly enough, I think, (in comparison to Grant's workout). What length of workout time has worked well for you? Thanks!!

Hi DWL - just saw your post - great to hear you're bouncing! I have found that multiple short sessions (5 - 10 min.) are better than one long one. I average 3 rounds a day for 20 - 30 minutes of exercise. Often, I don't even leave the mat. Other times I jog. Occasionally, I work on balance by going round and round while going up and down. I'm doing it for lymphatic movement more than anything.

Quote from DWL on February 11, 2019, 8:23 pmGuest, thanks for your comments on rebounding. I agree that several short exceecise sessions work well. In my eagerness to get a days' worth of rebounding done in one long session, I have now spent several hours on a package of frozen peas (gotta do something with those never to be eaten foods). Frozen peas make great ice packs!
I read that rebounding is the best exercise for moving lymph. I have found that body brushing works well, also. Detoxing Vitamin A is a slow go, but my Vitamin A toxicity symptoms continue to diminish.
