Are apples and bananas ok daily??

Vitamin A wise yes, preferably peeled for apples. I seem to have digestive trouble with apples and pears. I tolerate bananas well.

I think they will be after someone has purged all their symptoms away, during detox they are probably not good everyday.  1 apple and banana would be about ~200IU daily.   Depends how sick you are and how fast you want to deplete.

Depends on how sensitive you are, I personally think it's probably too much. If I were you I'd go as low as possible and then after a while try those foods and see how they make you feel. Nashi pears are supposed to be the fruit with the least VA. Always peel your fruit, most of the b-carotene is in the skin.

Yes always peeled. I follow the vertical diet. The guy says that fructose helps the liver

Why and how can you tell?  I only eat organic raisins - the package doesn't say they are sun dried so I guess that means they aren't?

There is a study somewhere comparing the two, sun dried raisins have lost 90-99% of the carotenes, mechanically dried only loses something like 40% if i remember correctly.

If you stick to the regular dark raisins you should be fine. If I remember correctly it's the brighter colored "sultana" raisins that are mechanically dried.

Will sun dried prunes lose their VA as well?  I need constipation relief on Grants diet but I was never regular to begin with.  It's just worse now.
