Gum recession reversal?

@lil-chick

I only use H2O2 to treat tooth decay. I tend to avoid it unless I really need it. I used to use it to treat my seb derm, fortunately I don't need it for that purpose anymore.

"Turmeric has been shown to reduce the presence of bacteria that causes cavities...."

On another note, regarding my curry "experiment"... The dish was bright with turmeric.

But I don’t have tooth decay at all, no cavities. This is different from the vA dump.

Yes, @ourania,  it could really be that decay is, like Price suspected, a sign of nutritional deficiency.  While perhaps gum disease is a sign of toxicity.

The omnivore's dilemma is really that:  how to become replete without poisoning yourself.

To everyone, I have advice,  possibly the grossest thing I've said here on this website.

Pick your nose.

Don't use a q-tip (cotton swab), they have glue on them.   Too impersonal, not targeted enough.  You need a fingernail for this job.

The one thing that solves the itchy, cruddy nose is picking it.  Pick it often, pick it gently, get that crud out of there, gosh darn it!

And maybe less detox crud will work it's way down to the gums????  :')

My grandmothers are now rolling in their graves.

Once, someone on the internet said that the texture of their boogers by the end of the day was similar to that of a  "triscuit".

Get those triscuits out of there, people.

I had thought of doing the same thing you mentioned with a xylitol mouth rinse.  However, my understanding is that the benefits come from xylitol acting as a prebiotic for "desirable" bacteria in the mouth, which then outcompete and suppress "unwanted" bacteria.  I'm not sure that xylitol is actually anti-bacterial in the amounts you'd use in your mouth.

@ourania

The nightly sinus/nasal congestion happens on both sides for me, but usually only on a single side in a given night (not sure if that has to do with what side of my body I've been sleeping on, but it doesn't seem to change once it's started, regardless of my sleeping position afterward).

I saw a chiropractor years ago who told me I tilt my head very slightly in a certain direction, having something to do with my vision.  Other than that, no noticeable head turning/tilting that I know of.

Hahaha, I do this in secret. Is anyone in the office watching? Nope. Picking my nose. Do I wake up in the middle of the night? Picking my nose. Get lost in an audiobook? Yep, you guessed it, picking my nose. And why use scissors to pluck my nose hairs when my thumb and forefinger work just as well? Nothing but benefits.

I do not want to insult your intelligence by making suggestions to you, but on the off chance you may have overlooked something i wanted to share what happened with my son. He was my best brusher, never missed brushing, yet when going to the dentist, he would have the most issues. He started getting these pits in the pointy sections of his molars (the four corners). the dentist was confused, she had never seen anything like it before. one night I was watching him brush, it was very  aggressive, he would also bite down repeatedly on his brush. his toothbrush was always smushed down. subsequently, i got him a very soft toothbrush and told him to brush softly and not as long, also to stop using his toothbrush as if it were chewing gum. his teeth are fine now... secondly, you mentioned brushing after every meal, not sure how true this is but i have heard that you should wait a bit after eating. when we eat, our enamel softens, so if you brush right after eating it may do more to damage the enamel (not sure if this would have an impact on the gums?) sometimes it can be the little things.

@pattycake

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've been a very delicate brusher ever since I had the startings of gum recession over 5 years ago and have been using soft bristle brushes during that time as well.  I'm aware of the recommendation not to brush immediately after eating acidic foods, but usually I am only eating meat and fat which should not cause a dramatic increase in acidity AFAIK.  I feel like flossing can do some serious damage if not done extremely carefully, but unfortunately I am constantly getting things stuck between my teeth and so have to floss after every meal or else my gums get irritated from that instead.

I have gotten some small improvement in the only place that I have receded gum at my lower jaw, the dentist said it is because of how the teeth are placed, and that I have to brush with a special brush. I have forgotten to use that.... anyhow, I have kinda gotten used to that this one place in my mouth is not optimal. But now, after doing low vitamin A 1,5 years and the bean protocol 7 months, it is improving! I also have started do oilpulling again and I brush with a mineral salt (Meine Base). I love how the oilpulling + saltbrushing makes my mouth and teeth feel. Salt has to be used very sparingly though, just a tiny bit.

I have also improved sinuses, I now can breath so lightly through my nose and it is rarely clogged! Its amazing! I used to have the right nose clogged often in the night. For many many years.. on and of more or less. Now its all so open and free.

Also my eyes seem to going through some positive changes... I have -2 dioptrines on both eyes since 4th grade in school, but as I finished school I quit using glasses. Now, I have a feeling that I am able to focus when watching distant objects.. it feels like I am exercising a muscle that has been unused and has no power. Its a very crazy feeling! I now get a feeling that if I focus on distant objects and exercise like that I will be able to recover my eyesight again. I could swear I was able to read the signs better as I was out driving yesterday!

This is so cool guys 🙂 🙂

I am eating beans from morning to evening, I really am religious about that, I want all that crap out of my liver fast...lol

Thank you @inger for this! So there seems to be hope for the gums! Maybe being younger helps too. Less to detox over all.

It seems the bean protocol is useful! Is it a spoonful of beans 5 times a day? Are you doing more?

We also have improved sinuses, and the right one being clogged in the night happens if we are in a very polluted environment that taxes the liver too much, or if we eat late and greasy, which happens when we have to travel to go to family and have no choice of when and how we eat.

We also have the same improvement in the eyes, able to focus better!!!!!! Just like you said, exercising a muscle that was petrified but now amenable to exercise!!!! Also again my husband noticed again than my eyes are flatter.I suppose whatever was inflamed behind them is decreasing and not pushing them out of shape!

Be well and happy!
