Gum recession reversal?

PreviousPage 3 of 4Next

@lil-chick is by far the funniest person in here 🤣😂👏
When I was at uni I wanted to do a study on kids nosepicking and immunity. I wonder if those kids who picked their nose, and ate it up, actually had a better immune system than non-pickers. However, my professors did not take me seriously 🤷‍♀️. I am a nose picker too, hate the feeling of something being stuck up there and paper/q-tip just won't do it. However not in public 😂. I have a bit of receeding gums on a few teeth on one side. I am pretty sure they got that way when I first went low A. I also chipped a tooth after the first 6 months. A part of a molar just fell off unprovoked. However I lean more towards it being an oxalate issue but who knows?

I think it would probably be a good thing to soften and moisturize the inside of the nostril so that the texture of boogers isn't triscuit anymore.    Whether you pick or not, those triscuit boogers are dangerous.   The nostril is easily damaged.    Perhaps a nostril thread is in order.   Sorry about the divergence from the gum topic, although I think all the head detox is related.

I used to think the answer was damp q-tips until I read that they have glue.  My eyes have benefited from cutting back on q-tip usage, although I still use them to swipe away the occasional fallen eyelash on the eyeball.  I use a washcloth now for daily eye cleaning.

Once damaged, I will resort to vaseline in the nostril, it could be the answer, it doesn't seem to help the area.

I don't like the idea of squirting liquids up the nose, it just seems so wrong.

There seems to be a daily routine of natural moisture in the nose in the morning and dry at night, similar to eye dryness.

@sarabeth-matilsky perhaps this is why your kids get bloody noses.   I remember my little brother always getting yelled at for picking his nose and it would bleed.  Even without picking, the triscuit boogers can cause blood.

I'm not sure if I've ever eaten a "triscuit" but after reading  this thread I can guarantee that one will never again touch my lips.

@lil-chick You are haunted by those boogery boo crackers. It's okay, nothing to be ashamed of food porn. Hey, my name is Hermes, and I've been off SexyRamenBowls.com for two weeks. Just the other night I was fantasizing about miso ramen with fatty chashu. I stayed strong and nobody got hurt.

Apologies if this is a duplicate.

Here's Jordan Peterson talking about reversing his gum disease.

@wavygravygadzooks it case it helps. After searching a bit I found that there is a treatment that works and is now being used in Belgium and France. This is fibrin rich plasma (not to be confused with platelet rich plasma on which it is an improvement).

I just read a PhD thesis on this in French and the photographs are fantastic! Showing COMPLETE repair!..
