They have been extremely helpful for me also and I never want to be without them. There is a chapter devoted to explaining scientifically how they help the liver in one of the Gerson books. Its more than just bile stimulation and colon cleansing, its like dialysis which is why retained 12 to 15 minutes for a few blood circulations

Quote from Alex on May 23, 2023, 3:54 pm@orion This is what I did, 250ml of a spring water enema to clear out bowels first if I hadn’t gone that day. Then 750-900ml of bottled spring water with 3 tablespoons of organic coffee, pressure cook in instant pot on low heat for 14 seconds. You can boil the coffee for 10-15 mins if you don’t have an instant pot/pressure cooker. Make sure to strain or decanter the coffee you only want the liquid not the grains. I used bottled volvic or Evian water but people say distilled water works better. Wait till the pot of coffee is warm, eg cool enough to stick your finger in then it’s ready to use. Hold coffee enema for as 9-13 mins, if you can’t hold for that long just release it. If doing a water enema first then release it instantly.
Separate to the enemas I took Pectasol, 1 scoop in water either after or before that day, the time didn’t really matter just was important I took it the same day. Pectasol is a unique binder it binds to stuff in the blood that’s why I think it helps so much, and it’s nothing like apple pectin which is didn’t react well too. So if you have toxins leaking into the blood and brain then Pectasol is a life saver.
I also started using glycine 500-1000mg before the enemas and that would cause a stronger detox, and I think it helps with detoxing glyphosate from the liver. Mega IGG 2000 a bovine immunoglobulin supplement contains IGG, IGA, IGM transferrin, I used inside some of the water enemas and it was helpful, this will help rebuild the mucosal barrier of the gut and bind to toxins and pathogens and help move toxic stored iron. Someone I saw also used Monolaurin with zinc in enemas and I think that’s a good idea too. Monolaurin is a extremely potent antiviral and antifungal and good for cellular infections.
I saw you mention you had a colonoscopy that showed polyps, sorry to hear that hopefully it’s all fine. Was just wondering what prompted you to get a colonoscopy?

Yes, you want the caffeine, organic and light roast is best. For Gerson therapy it is boiled in a big batches long enough to evaporate all the aromatic oils, stored in the refrigerator, then each portion warmed to body temp as needed. Since I'm not doing that many to need it in bulk, I just use a brown paper filter and do a pour-over brew as for drinking.

@alexm Blood in bowel movements was what prompted the colonoscopy, one of the polyps was large and sent for labwork, no more blood since its removal, so the big polyp was the culprit, hoping it is a benign growth.
@clare thank you both for the enema info, I will definitely think of testing this and may go with trying Pectasol as well.

I'm also in the process of detoxing vitamin A at the moment and a bit helpless as I'm also trying to work on my leaky gut at the same time. I'm actually on a more animal-based diet (beef, lamb, chicken, bone broth, banana, apple, plantain) and am trying to introduce some eggs into the diet now, am currently still taking copper as I had a deficiency and like the idea of the coffee enemas but I'm afraid my gut won't take it. I had a pretty high calcprotectin level (>600) in February and had to have a colonoscopy and gastroscopy and luckily nothing was seen or found in the biopsies but the leaky gut is there. I still have some weird feeling after my food in my gut and be very sensitive since I started the detox.
Can I write to you personally somewhere? I think I am very interested to know more about it.
About me; I am 28 and took acnenormin for 4 years and then ate a lot of fish oil, pumpkin and sweet potatoes after that.

Quote from David on May 27, 2023, 6:16 amBecause my copper has been very low in several tests and I also supplemented zinc for years before that and my iron was also low. I felt my blood flow again 2 hours after taking copper.

David, where are you at now. Are you still supplementing copper?
