Improvement in food intolerance symptoms?

PreviousPage 2 of 4Next

Foods high in thiols are things like onions, garlic and cabbage. If eating a lot of those cause problems then you most likely have thiol issues from your amalgams.

Cilantro crosses the blood brain barrier and moves mercury around.  If you want to know for sure, try some cilantro and see how you react to it.  It’s can be dangerous so just try a little for the first day and wait a day or two. Then increase and wait.

Since you have a lot of amalgams, you defintley have mercury toxicity but to what level we don’t know.  The half life of mercury in the body is around 16 years.

Hi John,

I do have many tooth fillings, but I think my main problem with cauliflower and coffee is because of salicylate content

Maryann, I would highly recommend seeing a holistic dentist and getting the mercury out of your body ASAP! I just a read an article the other day that they believe it's mercury that is causing dementia/Alzheimer's. On a side note, there is mercury in flu shots, ugh. Sadly mercury tocixity has an endless list of harm it does to the body and mind.

The last two weeks, I've been introducing some mayo, herbs, and green vegetables into my diet with no real issues(about a tablespoon of cooked greens, herbs in meat dishes, and some green peppers). I have also been including about two servings of dairy a day(butter, milk, OR Yogurt). My skin hasn't been breaking out. I've also had some foods with carrageenan in them, and didn't feel any negative symptoms. At month 8, my body has definitely been feeling more resilient to different types of food.

Have faith and I hope things improve for you.

Because of 3 day constipation that was only relieved from saline enemas from going on Grants diet, I started eating Trader Joe’s rolled oats today.  (Just a nite before the diet I usually go every two to three days to begin with. Only difference is with this diet I can tell it’s way more stuck)

Then I had a plain Wendy’s double burger with just lettuce patty and bun with two baked potatoes.   And bought some Meta Mucil with just psyllium husk and sucrose just in case the oatmeal doesn’t work.   Tonight I started feeling a little funny in the back of my head, like the beginning of anxiety.  Could be the oats, Wendy’s , or being on the laptop a lot today.

We’ll see.

John,

I've had some constipation issues since starting this diet. My intestines have responded beautifully to increasing my vitamin C intake. I don't aim for a dosage goal measured in numbers of grams. Instead, I just take enough throughout the day until I get a little gassy. The next day, everything moves fine.

That’s awesome.  Which brand C are you taking?

I’ve been taking Sodium ascorbate once or twice a day but maybe that wasn’t enough with the rice.

Since switching to Trader Joe’s gluten free oats it has made the difference. So far at least once every two days.  But I know now that’s not enough. I need to aim for once a day.

I do want to go back to rice because I’m worried  the oats may have some form of VA and glysophate but the fiber is suppose to help detox some things.

I also realized lettuce has plenty of VA. So no more lettuce on my burger! Just bun meant and baked potato.

For capsules, I'm currently taking Now brand C-1000 with 100mg of Bioflavanoids.

For powder, I took Now brand Vitamin C Crystals Ascorbic Acid. When that bottle ran out, I got Nature's Life Pure C Crystals, which is what I'm taking now.

I don't mind the taste of the powder (in moderation), so I add some to most of the water that I drink during the day. There's a limit to how much powder I can put in a glass of water and how many glasses of water I can drink in a day. So I take capsules with meals. If my stomach or intestines get uncomfortable and if I get gassy, I back off on C intake. If my bowels get sluggish, I increase.

Regarding the other part of your comment, I think oats are vitamin A free. To avoid glyphosate, get organic. I eat a bowl of organic steel cut oats most days.

All the best to you,

Paula

I had to stop eating Oats, they were giving me symptoms and seem to stop healing.  Oats contain Lutein + zeaxanthin.

Per 100g:

Vitamin A 0.00 IU 0 %
    Vitamin A, RAE 0.00 mcg
    Carotene, alpha 0.00 mcg
    Carotene, beta 0.00 mcg
    Cryptoxanthin, beta 0.00 mcg
    Lutein + zeaxanthin 180.00 mcg
    Lycopene 0.00 mcg

Thank you.   That's quite a dose for the Nature's Pure Life Pure C crystals at 5000 mg per serving.  Do you take that much at a time?
