Insanely vivid dreams. Anyone else?
Quote from lil chick on February 15, 2023, 6:40 amI've heard it said that remembering your dreams happens when you are awakened in the middle of them. Perhaps, and I'm not sure of this, if you don't remember your dreams you are cycling more completely or slowly through sleep stages, and if you remember them you might be awakening prematurely. But what do I know.
I also find that when things are a bit on edge (and gas can do this) sleep is a bit disturbed.
After reading the original post, I want to say that dreaming itself is a good thing. Not dreaming at all can be very bad for you, I think. I think poor sleep can even lead to symptoms that could be called "mental illness" but are really just symptoms of lack of sleep. Sleep studies (or should I say non-sleep studies, LOL) have always shown this.
