lil chick's log

PreviousPage 48 of 50Next

The bowel movements with beans are something else. For me it is a minimum of two every morning (urgent, as lil chick stated, before the coffee is even made) followed by 1-2 every afternoon. Very little toilet paper is necessary. I don't believe elimination gets any more complete. As it seems that more leaves my body than I take in, I have begun pondering the theory that we humans are not only converting mass to energy, but energy to mass as well. Thus the additional stool is explained by what I've daily gathered from the ether.

Hey, guys does anyone know what I should do about my armpit nerve pain?

My shoulder is my worst joint, it is on  the stiff side and there could be crap in there making the nerve unhappy.

Or there could be stuck lymph.

This has happened before but it didn't last as long and it wasn't as severe.

This all began when I traveled and I came home feeling poisoned and strung out.

Cold, heat, vibration all set off an electrical current across my wing area, under the arm pit and toward the chest

Yowza, no fun

I don't really have any good suggestions for your nerve pain.  I do know that my neck posture can affect nerves in the front of my arms.  That pain is more of a dull type pain not an electrical current type that you are experiencing.

Yes, my son is trying to help me with posture and movement and getting facia broken up.

Apart from food, may be check that the shoulder is not subluxed.

I decided that even though I'm anti-supplement, it might be time to try a B1.

Right or left side?  Pain related to movement, types of movement, position?  Rotator cuff structure and function?  Range of motion or strength of joint affected?

Hi Joe2!

Regarding the shoulder, It's my left side.    The shoulder is stiff but not usually sore.    Occasionally it will "complain" (ouch) at the moment when I try to increase the range of movement like:   "hey, you know I don't do that!"   But then it is fine later.    It's "crunchy".   When I first started out here my left hip was "crunchy/stiff" in the same way but that has cleared.   My left toe is also "crunchy".

The nerve has done this before.    (ie gone into electric mode)

Anything that triggers nerve can send the electricity.   Hot water, rolling over in bed, drying off with a towel, bouncing up the stairs.

I took a benfothiamine yesterday.    Perhaps I bought the benfothiamine last time this happened?   My memory is crap.

Last night my lower GI had a bit of a detox, perhaps from that one pill.

If traveling wears out my B1, that is a good thing to know and I can just bring it with me and perhaps be a better traveler.

I'm going to have to look through my own thread though, I swear that I hit a wall with the B1 before.

Metronidazole induces neuropathy by thiamine deficiency. This is well known.

Hugs

Hey, I looked back to one year ago, and found this great post by our friend Ourania.     I was on this drug for my rosacea at one point, it was years ago.

Not that this is her entire point, though.    The point is that B1 deficiency can cause neuropathy.
