Have used B1 to antidote B6 toxicity (insane neuropathy).  It works.  Was lucky enough to reduce dose and get off it before duration paradox turned on me.  We keep it around and rarely use it.  Have saved chickens repeatedly over last 5 years with it.  Have not needed it for chickens or self for 2 years now - low vA.

Neuropathy, another Sjogrens thingy...and I suppose it is just the B vitamin imbalances of VA overload?

Today I'm really, really getting sick of this LOL

and yes, it gets insane.

I think there is an aspect of this nerve problem about being out of shape, having bad posture, having computer posture, having star-gazing posture.   And also I'm probably not jiggling the old frame enough to keep the rust from forming.

I feel a difference when I take on more of a ballerina posture for a while.    Strung up by the back of the head, chin level, bust supported by the shoulders, stomach loose, breathing well.    It's hard though.   My bowling ball wants to jut it's chin, lean forward to see the screen, and slump in my office chair.    I should be stretching, sprinting, jump-ing jaxing, faux kung-fu fighting etc.   It's retirement-itis.

BUT I also think that the exposure to bad things in the hotel room didn't help.    Not one bit.

I think the benfothiamine is helping, although I got the ick on it yesterday.   God I hate taking supps.

Yesterday, like Janelle, I came down with holiday-itis...my version being a "food attack" after a week that was much too buttery, cheesy and yummy.    2 days ago I also splurged on some tomato sauce.   I had a tiny drink of port yesterday.   And 2 hours in the car.    Probably just ate too much for too many days as well.    All the usual food attack triggers.    It's not usually about one day's splurge but after a week or so of splurge.     So, I guess not a surprise.    The food attack was mild compared to some I've had.   But still, no fun.

I was also exposed to a super-powerful perfumey air-freshener yesterday, and wonder if that played in too.

My food attacks always seem to happen when my stomach empties and I'm lying flat.    It does seem to help to prop up on pillows to try to dissuade a food attack from happening.    I try to go to sleep propped up if I have a full stomach at bed time.     Once in progress it is too late.    I really don't like sleeping propped up, but it does seem traditional to prop sick people up.

I'm considering going down to 2 meals a day, although my first step in that direction might be to just stop SNACKING!

I've been a bit blue lately.    I think some of this blue-ness is about not wanting to eat + drink for "feel goods" like the rest of the world does.  I need to make up some feel-goods in other ways.   I feel like I'm being pulled into a lazy downward spiral, in which the laziness is causing blueness which is causing more laziness.

Another reason that I'm blue is that I'm in a way just... sad (frustrated?   "done"?)...that I've spent so much time feeling like crap; and it doesn't help that I also  feel extremely misunderstood by the people around me.    Oh well, life is hard on everyone, and I need to buck up.   It's been a bit of a rough year personally, but I'm so lucky over all... And have so much to be thankful for.

I think I need to put something on my facial skin in winter that isn't vaseline.   Something that won't block my pores.

What-all are you using?

This is what I use:  Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Moisturizer (pink grapefruit).  It probably isn't the best but I only use it when necessary in the winter.

Refined shea butter mixed with zinc oxide powder.  Considering a test of other powders to add to topical mix.

I've been using castor oil and a facial moisturizer from Kheils (just a dab).

Nivea (not ideal but helps dryness) and nothing a lot of the time as I don’t want to give the body any other toxins to deal with. Skin still quite dry and think it may be one of the last things to resolve on the diet. Has definitely improved from what it was though. I had perfect skin most of my life.
