Get's a little boring, doesn't it? Low/no Vitamin A also means low taste. So I've been looking for alternatives to the usual spices and herbs and cheese, etc.
What I've discovered is bone broth powder. The pure variety, not flavoring pouches from the ordinary supermarket. By itself, in hot water to make actual broth, tastes terrible. But, sprinkled on hamburger patties, or added in when cooking rice, has a mild, beefy flavor that is very satisfying.
Below is the brand I use, but there are other brands. I put it in a salt shaker, on the shelf over the kitchen stove so it's handy.
