This is where Grant  could come in and share his knowledge with Tom Cowan. People don’t know what they don’t know. Tom is open to learning, so there is a window of opportunity here. https://drtomcowan.com/

@beata-2

Why should anyone listen to this non-M.D. Cohen/Cowan?

He is a founding board member of Weston A. Price Foundation and still listed as Vice President: https://www.westonaprice.org/about-us/board-of-directors/

Tom Cohen/Cowan said in the beginning in his podcast "Cowan with friend" featuring Sally Fallon Morell that he was proud that they two had increased the world's consumption of liver and organ meats which was much much smaller before these ghouls emerged.

For crying out loud he even wrote a book saying that the human heart is not a pump that pushes your blood around your body. How dumb does he think his marks are?

As per him being a de-licenced doctor, it started when he was suspended due to malpractice and them personally decided to not renew his licence:
https://calmatters.org/health/2021/02/conspiracy-theory-doctor-surrenders-medical-license/

Why doesn't he remove his that prominent Dr. title he uses on his new too polished-looking website that you linked too? -Is that not very disgenous and perhaps an outright lie?

Personally I have only pure disgust towards all the founders of Weston A. Price Foundation who have been poisoning people since 1999.

@david, thank you for expressing your opinion. The fact that Tom Cowan is no longer a licensed MD stands in his favor. I have several young MDs in my family and I have never seen anyone more brainwashed, limited and sold to the corporate interests. These days a doctor can loose a license trying to prescribe Ivermectin, so we need to be discerning in our judgement against those who fell victim of such mistreatment from the medical "authorities".

Yes, he challenges people to think outside the box, so if you are totally convinced that the allopathic medical paradigm is all there is, Tom Cowan is not for you and the posts such as mine are best avoided.

People don't know what they don't know. Tom is willing to learn which I greatly appreciate.  Maybe, when presented with a convincing argument in regards to Vitamin A would allow him to see his errors?

As for the Western Price Foundation, it is not different from any other "health guru" who gets hooked on a fallacy and then promotes it to the detriment of the gullible (yours truly including).  I don't dismiss people simply because they have not learned something that I have. This doesn't make them bad, crazy or stupid. They are blank canvasses that can be painted upon by people such as Grant.

I am so glad you have been feeling better this month, @beata-2! 😊 It's always difficult when a really bad "wave" of detox (or whatever it is) hits ya... Interesting that changing the vitamin C dose may have had such a significant effect.

I'm glad you're mixing it up a bit by trying a few more supplements for support. Potassium/magnesium seem to be essential for many of us. Hope the Lion's Mane is helpful for ya! What a fascinating and wild looking mushroom.

"What I seem to really want is lots of sunshine, clear air and water, no EMFs, a group of close friends and a loving family around me. Most are missing, so not hard to figure out why robust health is just around the corner."

^ I feel you on this!  🤍 🤍 🤍

@puddleduck, Thank you.

Experimenting with supplements is fun but I need to keep in mind that they can have a very serious effect and need to be treated with respect. But when 'the other components' of the health foundation are lacking, there is little else to do than to manipulate the indigestibles.

Yesterday, while driving I became aware of how well I felt. I was in total and complete balance, warmth and clarity.

I attended Easter lunch at the family and had foods I haven’t eaten for at least 2 years. I had no reaction of any sort, no digestive issues, no discomfort. I realised that this is how it feels to be perfectly healthy.

Today, I am back to my much more restrictive diet and have no cravings and no regrets that the out of ordinary foods like asparagus, homemade ice cream and some white wine crossed my lips.

I know that my sense of wellbeing is intimately connected to the weather - and it has been glorious for about a week now.

I also started to do intermittent fasting and wonder why I haven’t thought of it before. I already lost some unwanted weight, stopped being terrified of the fasting hunger, shrank my stomach, so I feel satiated with smaller meals.

I also realised that any health issues I still have can get resolved simply because of the efficiency of my human mechanism. And the remaining ones - I am able to graciously accept.

My present diet is: meat including some lamb brains, sweetbreads and bone marrow, beans, sourdough bread (instead of rice), onion, olive oil, miso, ACV.

Supplements: Iodine, vitamins B complex, Quinton marine plasma, Shilajit, Calcium/Magnesium, Amyloban (lion’s main extract), Strophanthus, Ascorbic acid (1500mg + 1500mg whole food vitamin C daily), Adrenavive (occasionally).

My tinnitus persists, anosmia fluctuates, thyroid needs medication, receding gums persist.

I had a periodic hair loss but is seems to have passed. Sleep is restful. Energy, strength and the mood are excellent.

@ggenereux2014, Grant, I want to express my gratitude for your work on vitamin A. By minimising it in my diet, I have received benefits greater than I did over the years of many and various diets, nutritional protocols and personal hacks. Thank you.

After nearly 3 years of low vitamin A diet I have experienced benefits that are far beyond of what I hoped to heal. Last month was the most intense and rewarding. I have felt tremendous inner change that cracked and disposed of the thick outer shell. This resulted in a complete overhaul of my priorities and aspirations. My life-long health journey of learning, researching and experimenting came to a completion.  It is time for me to embark on a different journey now - and there is so much to experience! For me good health had been a complicated matter but once over the worst hump, a new universe became visible.

Yesterday as a final experiment I took a chance while attending a birthday gathering. I loaded my plate with foods that previously always gave me strong, unpleasant reactions. I didn’t have any bad reactions afterwards or today which to me is a clear indication  that my system is now strong and able to deal with many and various eating indiscretions. However, I am not planning on eating ‘the normal people’s food’ and will carry on with my body’s guidance and intuition. Right now it is very low in vitamin A but much more varied than Grant’s “prison food” as his wife graciously named it.

My apologies for sometimes intense exchanges with several people on this forum. My comments were never meant to hurt anyone or even elicit a strong response. When they did, my feeling was that we were not really on the same wavelength, and the writing gnomes caused some aggravation by misrepresentation of the intended content.

I wish you All an easy and pleasant health journey - with few pebbles in your shoes along the way. ❤️

Thank you for your inspiring post @beata-2 ! I have not been very active on this forum recently because I have been experiencing as you have big changes in my life with changes in priorities. We are now 2 years and 6 months into the low vA diet but we have decided to change our residence to a much healthier place. This involves a lot of stress which we couldn’t have faced before but now are strong enough to face, or so I hope.

I really feel that getting rid of vA helps with getting rid of the limitations linked to our past. I am so glad that you experienced a boost in this at the 3 years mark and I am so hoping that the next few months will also bring us a lightening of this load.

Hugs and good luck for every aspect of your life!
