Quote from Beata on December 14, 2020, 3:42 pm@dino. I will certainly get the book. Thank you for your recommendation. I have been coming across various devices, shields, etc for protection from EMF’s but never investigated them closely enough.
Around the time when I they started to test the 5G in my area, I also acquired tinnitus. I shall commit myself to really look into this - perhaps after I read the book. There is always something to do!

Quote from Beata on December 14, 2020, 3:50 pm@lil-chick. I think that you are onto something. I noticed that lately I have been getting itchy eyes - the allergy type of itching. I have never been good at clearing histamine. I am an undermethylator and prone to allergies.
I also live near the woods and we have extremely damp weather here in England, so there is thick mold in the air.
I am going to take some antihistamine tonight to test this theory.

Quote from Beata on December 14, 2020, 4:01 pm@jiri. I must confess that I have done 2 hair tests few years apart and the only change was nickel - present in excess on the first test in 2016 and no longer on the second test. I have been a “heath nut” for the last 30 years, eating only organic, pastured and grass fed, so I have a hard time believing that toxic metals are a problem. I could do a little better with the minerals as some of them are in the low normal but over all, I just cannot see from the hair test that much wrong going on.
I used to be oestrogen dominant in my reproductive years. Now, my menopause is extremely smooth. A light and rare hot flush is all I experience.Last 2 days I seem to be finding less hair on my brush which is great. Sleep is still poor but maybe it is just a histamine issue as suggested by @lil-chick. We have exceptionally wet weather with plenty of mold in the air. I have never been good with mold.

Protecting oneself against EMFs is quite complicated if your home is exposed. First thing to do is understand well the different kind of EMFs and how they impact health. Good books about that exist such as the one I presented here. For a simple one with some practical tips as well and down-to-earth explanations, you can see Mercola's "EMF*D".
In essence, EMFs create a lot of free radicals and basically put down metabolism by blocking some critical enzymes and making your cells oxygen-deprived while making you unable to metabolize correctly sugars, proteins and fats. There are many other effects on the nervous system and on the cell excitability but that is the essence. That's why good breathing and techniques such as Wim Hof method help. Also lowering A and anything of the sort will help of course, all those things are interrelated.
Then you absolutely have to get an EMF-meter, a very good one. This is crucial otherwise you walk "blindly" and have no clue about what is impacting you and how much and what kind of protection works for what (you will be amazed when you measure those waves for the first time as some of the worst offenders are usually unnoticed, such as your smartphone).
The very first step is to change your WI-FI to "cable-based" connexion (more stable and better by the way) and "unable" everything which irradiates you at home such as bluetooth, wireless, etc. This demands a change of "lifestyle". One of the worst offenders is your cellphone. You should never have it with "mobile data" active unless you need to use that and even then it is better to do it to your cable-based connection if possible. If you don't need your phone, put it on "airplane mode" or at least without mobile data and as far as possible from where you spend most of your time. Another thing which emits a lot is all the "smart"-meters. If you have those it is terrible and may you change that and avoid them then do it at all costs.$
Concerning protection, most things sold are useless or sometimes make things worse. You have to take the very best quality such as "Swiss Shield EMF Protection". You want some military-quality stuff otherwise you spend money for nothing.
If you are limited on cash, the best and most important to get is a "bed canopy" so you can at least sleep well and make your body rest at night which is of utmost importance. Another great thing is to get a shielded shirt so you can protect your organs.
Honestly, you have to delve into the topic for some time and learn a lot because it is quite complicated but the three steps you can do immediately are changing your connexions to "cable-based" ones, order an EMF-meter and avoid your phone with "mobile data" like the plague. Then once you have an EMF meter you have to measure your home very well and buy protection if necessary.
The most important is not to avoid EMFs all the time. If your body can rest at least at night and you avoid the main culprits you will do fine. For those with chronic diseases and a very slow metabolism however I guess it is not sufficient and you would need complete protection for extended period of time. The problem is when you are exposed 24/7 and your body has no opportunity to rest and relax. It accumulates internal stress and then is starts aging much more rapidly and problems start.
In my case, I have found a home when protection etc. is not necessary and since I sleep well and spend basically most of my time with virtually no EMFs, I am very fine (I even work from home these days but since my connexion is through cable it is fine). It requires discipline to get away of EMFs but it is worth the "pain" and once you get used you basically see how much time you spent "doing nothing" on your smartphone etc. - it is literally like a drug addiction.
I have just "touched" the topic so you really have to go deeper by yourself. Your time will be very well invested. And buying an EMF-meter in our modern world is the very best "material investment" you could do.
A last thing is, if you have a good underground cave (under earth), it should be protected so you should be fine there. Also try to go deep in a cave or in the woods if you can, usually these place are very low on EMFs (unfortunately not always).
I believe that in order to "heal" it is important to avoid EMFs like plague, then once your metabolism is good you can "care less".
Many things can impact health negatively but I believe that EMFs, bad/wrong breathing and "A" are certainly the main culprits.

Quote from Beata on December 16, 2020, 6:41 am@dino. Thank you for taking your time to present this information. It is apparent that you have done some thorough research on the topic.
I have been doing what I can in some small ways but I know that it is not enough. I have my phone data off, I absolutely refuse to get a smart meter, I turn off my router for the night, my laptop is wired. But...I use mostly ipad, have several wifi raspberries operating during the day, etc. etc.
I will get an EMF meter as I am really curious about what is lurking around. As for the misfortune of living so close to the tower I can do nothing about for now. I would love to move somewhere where the effects would be minimised. The world is falling into pieces and with Musk’s satellites all around there is no escape. Well, there is but it would take some major rearrangement.I am well familiar with Wim Hoff as I have followed his cold dip and breathing suggestions. This ended up after 2 weeks as my thyroid could not take such a stress. Not to say that doing his breathing method cannot be done. I often feel like I need to take deep breath and my blood oxygen saturation is not fantastic.
Thanks again for this. I really appreciate it. I might not be able to follow all the suggestions but will get the book and the EMF meter for start.

Quote from Beata on December 16, 2020, 6:49 amI think I am not much closer to pinpoint my hair loss issue and insomnia.
I evaluated very closely everything I have been doing lately. Somehow it escaped my mind that I started to supplement with vitamin K. It is possible that this caused a rapid vitamin A detox and hair loss. I stopped vit. K about a week ago. I am starting to notice that there is less hair on my brush now. Once more I am becoming aware how powerful the supplements are and how easy it is to forget it.
As for insomnia: I took 1/2 tablet of antihistamine (Loratadine) and had the best sleep ever. Unfortunately I cannot be taking antihistamine often as it leave me with PMS type of symptoms 2 days after - every single time!
There is so much mold in the air and I can see it settling on the walls. It has been a constant fight to keep it down, cleaning it and keeping my home dry. But I live in England and it is very damp here, so my fight is never won.

Quote from Dino on December 16, 2020, 8:15 am@beata-2 Yes as I have written elsewhere in much more detail Wim Hof is quite "advanced and agressive" and should not be used until metabolism is better/good. You can start with milder breathing techniques and go to Wim Hof after some improvement. Courage, keep going on.

Quote from Orion on December 16, 2020, 8:17 am@beata-2 do you have a de-humidifier for your home? If not you should by a portable one and run it all day during damp weather/seasons.
Good point about vit K, I do use it topically once in awhile, I think I will stop too. Like you I want to eliminate all supps, and see how I respond.
Never tried Loratadine (Brand Claritin here in Canada), wonder if it would help my sleep... but again don't want to need a crutch or have the side effects of using all the time. But an experiment might show if sleep issues are histamine related.

Quote from Beata on December 16, 2020, 8:32 am@orion. Yes, I do have a very large portable dehumidifier and humidity meters all over the house. I try to keep on top of mold but sometimes it seems to be very clever and starts growing in some dark corner!
After the Vit. K experiment I am definitely ready to abandon the thought of them all. I eat very high quality foods, pastured meats and organic everything else. We are lucky to have access to amazing meat, straight form the farmers. So, I will just stick to the diet and see how it goes.
And yes, it is well worth trying the antihistamine as an experiment. Nice to know what is going on. Good luck. Let us know what you found out.
