Hello @donald , sorry for the late answer.
Yes, I tried the Coimbra protocol with very high doses of vitamin D and other supplements. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any difference, so I stopped after five months.

I’ve taken a break from liver flushing (two months without any), but I might start again since I don’t have any other strategies at the moment. I’m also trying to work on my gut biome, but so far, without much success.

How are you doing? When you said there was a slow recovery with the flushes over two years, did you mean that psoriasis (slowly) improved gradually as well? I’ve done 42 flushes and, honestly, haven’t noticed any difference regarding my psoriasis. I’ve spoken with some people who experienced major improvements after more than 60-80 flushes.

I’m on the fence about it because it feels like the same argument you hear everywhere: “It works, but you just need to do more X”—just like fasting enthusiasts who claim you simply didn’t fast long enough.

I'm slow at responding too because there just isn't much to say. I am doing well however. But no major improvements, no breakthrough. My psoriasis is less itchy, and less scaly after having started the liver flushes jan 1st 2023 having done them at 3 weekly intervals. It is also less moist and more of a dry scale. On some places it comes and goes over the months. Some patches have not gone away at all and have stayed steady in size. Overall I say my total body covering percentage has not changed too much the last 3 years. When I have good bile-flow for a bit after a flush it is not itchy at all, and feels really quiet and it barely scales. Just like you I should be at around 40 flushes right now. Last flush I once again lost 3 thumb-nail sized liver stones and my stools have since gotten way browner and feel way better in quality. Psoriasis however is a bit more itchy since then.

Because of the improvements in my psoriasis "quality" combined with the immense benefits I have noticed towards my sleep quality, mood and other areas. I will keep doing it. I also notice pressure building up on the right side just below my ribs after about 3 weeks after every flush.

I do agree that the "just keep doing it" feels a bit wrong. But I have the same feeling with other strategies, like carnivore, keto, and the low vit A approach and dogma on this forum by certain individuals. One would assume faster benefits to psoriasis with the liver flushes, I would've hoped so too in my case. It is not meant to be however.

But I also see this in regular medicine. It is always.... always.. something else.

Hope you and everyone else on this forum are doing great as well.

If liver flushes really worked that well. I would imagine the alternative medical health scene would've invented a medical procedure called the liver-suction. Just put a small, long, thin vacuum cleaner up someones esophagus, go past the stomach, and into the bile ducts and suck them clean.

Hello Donald !

It has been a while. Sorry for the late reply. I'm still experimenting but sadly not much to report either.

Replacing starch with fruits for carbs seems to allow my psoriasis to be better managed with nUVB. Other than that... The "liver chronic tenderness" is still very much there 24/7. I'm not sure what I can do about it. Still trying things...

How are you doing ? Still doing the flushes or other strategies ? I've not done any for a while, but never benefited from them regarding this "pain" long term. Maybe a bit less present the day of the flush ? But no "long lasting" improvment like you describe sadly!

Have you tried infrared light over the liver?  Or hot water bottle on it while sleeping (more natural form of infrared)?  Or charcoal poultices?  Or all these?
