Physiology is so complex and interconnected which is why I am very conservative with approaches to healing, I think we just need to understand what prevents the body from regulating itself properly and let it correct itself most of the time.

Yeah when small animals and small fish were part of the diet we would have got it. I tried to find out what form iodine from fish fillets is in but I'm still not clear.
My understanding is that if you get a large amount of thyroid in your burger it can create some very unpleasant symptoms?
Just from memory I believe story is thyroid was taken out of the food supply when some guy ate a pure thyroid burger and it killed him. I'm slight dubious of the story but on the back of that one case an entire food that people had exposure to for thousands of years was removed.
If I had to hazard a slightly paranoid guess it would they wanted to sell heart medication or something. Since more people have died choking on chicken bones, one wonders why the FDA didn't ban those also. Then there's the issue that these are the same people okaying insane amounts of retinol fortification. Of course I'm speculating, and not very charitably at that, but I find myself wondering all the same.

Hi Lil Chick,
I think you're in good company. This is close to what Broda Barnes was saying.

Clearly they banned it because it's a cheap, natural, and very effective medicine for a number of conditions. It could replace many of the most profitable classes of drugs, like statins for example.
They always artificially manufacture fear around natural food and medicine and ignore all the horrors of allopathic treatments. When the government was looking for deaths caused by raw milk (and whatever you think about dairy, raw dairy is much much much better than pasteurized), they literally counted even a person who killed himself as a raw mlik death because he drank a glass of raw milk a month prior to his suicide or whatever.

Quote from lil chick on June 6, 2021, 10:18 amMy loved one never comes out bad enough on any test to get drugs, but can be a bit jowly and lowish body temp.
I would wonder if it is slightly easier to fix the "type 2" than it is to fix the "type 1" as we are seeing with diabetes. In type 2 maybe you just need to turn over lots of body cells and make them less VA toxic and your hormones will all start being listened to better. In type 1, maybe your thyroid itself is suffering and has taken some damage. Probably like we've seen with the type 1 diabetics here, the shorter amount of time your pancreas or in this case thyroid has been sick, (when you go low-VA) the better and faster your outcome will be. You might need meds for a while or even for life, even though you have done a lot of VA detox.
