To eat peanuts or not to eat peanuts?

PreviousPage 3 of 3

Hi Bella,

I mainly use light olive oil as well, not crazy about refined oil at all and hope it does not harm me. Or nuts when I need something chewy.

My goal (or hope) is to be able to tolerade butter, häagen and CHEEEESE again. Not everyday but on occation. I miss cheese so much :(. Knowing this is not for life makes it easier to endure. Also knowing how much damage vit A has done makes it easier to not fall into the health trap again. I just found out I need 2 surgerys, one for kidney one for endometriosis. OP 1 is set for jan 3rd, OP 2 is set for jan 31st. I am still praying for a miracle. Pain in kidney has recided though so I am positive about that.

I will never ever eat another carrot, kale or casein protein again in my life!! Or liver. F**k you liver! 😂 But if I could have a gruyere toast a few times a year, Id greatfully take that ❤️

I pray you will have a miracle too and if you need to have the surgeries that they go well Liz. The best I’ve ever seen come out of medicine has been when faith and prayer is involved. I have witnessed a few miracles and although I’m not a huge fan of much in the medical world in general I do feel there are times when surgery is the wisest choice.

I’m exactly like you in that I can’t imagine ever eating liver, casein powder or carrots (or sweet potatoes) again but I wouldn’t mind the occasional indulgence in ice cream or delicious cheese! I used to miss wheat terribly when I was first diagnosed with celiac but now I’m completely over that so perhaps the same thing might happen with dairy.

I feel the same Bella & Liz. I dream about cheese 🧀 Good luck with surgeries Liz.

Jenny and Bella - may cheese treat us well in the future, with no ill effects 🙂

Bella - dr G writes in his vit A documents that he believe celiac being connected to vit A and that the celiac condition might go away eventually with a low A diet. Dunno where he gets that idea from, concidering celiac also being genetic (or so they say) but considering how many conditions Grant has healed from it feels like nothing is written in stone anymore.

That’s great to know-Thank you. For me it has seemed very autoimmune in the sense that there are times I’ve seemingly been able to tolerate gluten and other times no at all! In light of the theory of vitamin A being the main culprit that would explain the mystery of why that happens.

I had a small exposures to gluten recently (regular soy sauce) and it wasn’t too bad.

Bella

That is interesting 🙂 maybe it will go away eventually for you? Dr G say dont rush it, give it time and see what happens. But he believes it is fixable and he might believe it for a reason (studies or from his own clients?) He preach being as strict as possible and also being gf for the first 3-6 months also if one dont have celiac. Although I will never understand his take on butter 🤔
