weird feeling after eating chicken breast..

When I eat chicken breast I get that itchy, hot feeling in my face, neck, chest, shoulders almost like mini flush when you take niacin.  Eating chicken thighs is ok.. So I wonder if it is due to high B3 or B6? 200g chicken breast has like 19mg of niacin and 1,6mg of B6..

edit-now I googled that it can be also from amino acid beta-alanine that is high in chicken breast. Same thing is doing pre workout with beta alanine that itchy tingling sensation.. Anyway so good to know that it probably is not some allergy..

Try consuming two cans of redbull to see if its from b6 or b3 , if you feel worse after consuming red bull then for sure its b3/b6

I have stopped eating meat for now , I will resume eating again after 2-3 months . I ate so much beef , chicken and eggs since last year , I think our bodies need a time out, but for sure will resume after 3 months from now . I am taking zinc everyday incase if I get zinc deficient .

Over-supplementing zinc can drive copper levels down, so I advise caution if choosing to supplement zinc. If you suspect a zinc deficiency, blood tests for zinc are likely to be the best marker for zinc status. In general, it is probably not wise to supplement anything without blood/lab tests, especially minerals and fat soluble vitamins.

@r-2 I wouldn't take zinc every day. You can really block absorption of copper from intestine.. I also start taking zinc again. But only once max twice a week 1x30mg capsule. Away from brown rice or any kind of source of phytic acid and other antinutrients. So ideally taky it with meat and white rice meal.. Anyway protein intake is not a problem. Your body runs on amino acids. By not eating good amount of protein from animal products(I don't believe much in plant sources of protein, because a lot of people have bad digestion and will not digest and absorb amino acids from things like legumes etc..) you are basically stopping detoxification of the body. So you really should think twice if you want to eat low high quality protein diet.. In fact you should probably eat more animal protein lol..

Ah, more posts on the internet have been wasted arguing about macros, LOL.  I think we can logic this out, and I don't think there is a one-size-fits all.

My theory about macros is that you should study the macros of your ancestors.   My ancestors took great pride in having meat on the table at the very least for dinner once a day.    Even during the depression with 12 children.  I think I feel best with mixed, square meals of meat/carb/fat and a bit of a vegetative food.    

However, I know someone from another culture who is perfectly formed, and his tradition was to only eat meat about every other day, some fats and lots of foods from the vegetable kingdom especially legumes and rice.   There are some traditions in which mostly meat and fat was taken and hardly anything from the vegetative world, for instance, the Inuit.

no bro I am not giving up on meat completely , and i know for sure how much they help in detox , just as of now I feel like I should give up for a month or two , lol I actually ate tons of beef and chicken around 2 lbs a day I was eating , so yeh cant wait to go back on beef . I will do copper ceruloplasmin test soon to see where my levels at 

@r-2 ok so it was somebody else saying he is eating 200-300g of meat a day for protein.. I also need to test my ceruloplasmin and feritin..

 

Have you found of the cure for this , I think I have the same tingling in hands and feet after eating meats .. I consumed tons of meat in past 4 months , gave up recently , but today I tried to eat again but felt this again after eating beeef
