"white food", and an intriguing old fashioned (white food) cure

PreviousPage 3 of 3

If you look around you can find the non GMO (which is also probably important) and the organic.

We eat all the different white carbs.

One of the things that irks me is that Russett potatoes often aren't really white.    A real russet is whiter on the inside and darker on the outside than a lot of what is passed on as Russet lately.

I would guess we eat the most of white wheat of all the staples, and that is probably what our ancestors would have eaten.    My old-world raised grandmother thought rice was "foreign" LOL.   She wouldn't touch it hahah.

The original post was about a pudding made from peeled almonds, if I'm not mistaken.   Sounds good, doesn't it?

A peeled almond pudding sounds nice.

I looked up white marzipan but it has potassium sorbate, a preservative that is linked to cancer (even though it’s supposedly safe) in it, so would have to make it from scratch

Is there a recipe for the peeled almond pudding?
