How does Accutane work?
Quote from Pawel on November 20, 2023, 9:35 amI just summarized my history of taking isotretinoin (via drug called "Curacne") and it totalled to something close to ~10 000 mg. I was taking it for more than half a year at doses from 40 to 60 mg/d. Is it very high?

I know nothing about this channel and these questions may be easy to answer, the first questions I would ask are:
- Why is there a range of photos and video footage of him or someone being implied as being him when he allegedly had acne?
- What evidence is there that he naturally suffered from acne and didn't use a drug or even B12 to induce it?
- What evidence is there that he took accutane?
- What evidence is there that he eats a vegan diet?

His name is Brian Turner. He is a long time YouTuber who has documented his life since 10 years ago when he had bad acne and ate lot's of animal products. He finally cured his acne when he went vegan.
"I live in San Diego, California and was born on September 23, 1992! I've been bodybuilding for 16 years and 9 of that as a vegan!" -Brian Turner

Quote from Pawel on November 22, 2023, 12:52 amI bet this was because elimination of dairy. I've been eating 0.5 kg of beef daily for the last year and no acne here. Meat in itself does not have any factors that could trigger acne.

This is true, but people often claim that vegans can't build muscle and that is false. Even cats, who are true carnivores can live their whole lives perfectly healthy on a 100% plant protein diet.
YouTuber named Vegan Gains has a cat that has been vegan since it was a tiny kitten and that cat is big and strong. It plays very rough with dogs that are way bigger.

Quote from Inger on November 22, 2023, 1:24 amI am thinking it is because he surely eats lots of beans 🙂 🙂
yes, eliminating dairy, sugar, junk food, all of that. All the soluble fiber healing the gut and the liver.
When I lived in Germany a couple years ago I was filmed for a documentary in TV because of my carnivore raw meat eating. On the documentary there was also a guy who was a vegan bodybuilder. The film team had us meet up in a restaurant to order foods that we could eat according to our diet. I of course ordered a carpaccio, and the guy I dont remember what he ordered but what I do remember is that he was a really kind fellow, it was fun to talk to him and he was pretty muscular, also he had very good skin. And he ate a tonne of beans every day!! I remember thinking back then, he must fart a LOT, how can he even handle that..
Today, I think very differently! Now I know our gut get used to the fiber and that it even is super good for the gut. Crazy to think about 🙂 I never could have imagined that I would start eating beans. But I did. Life is mysterious 😉

Quote from Arket on November 22, 2023, 1:32 amI just checked from Cronometer that my current diet has 3589 calories and 120.8 grams of fiber. I fart about five times total in whole day and my farts don't smell at all and they are so tiny that you probably wouldn't even hear when I fart in the same room. When I ate gluten I farted at least 100 times per day and every fart was 3-4 second long. I though I had terrible SIBO then but it all went away in a week when I stopped gluten completely.

wow that is a lot of calories! And fiber! What did you eat?
I had to stop gluten too last spring, because I got such a weird skin rash, gluten rash. In a week the rash went away.
