Detox and teeth problems- suggestions/help

PreviousPage 2 of 3Next

From the mineral side, what I have learned is that magnesium and boron are very important for teeth. Maybe you could supplement with these.

I been having problem with receding gum this year with all the VA I consumed. Now it's seems there is some erosion to my lower 2 front teeth. That's just 2 weeks into low VA diet.

Can retonic acid cause that???

OP here.  I apply topical magnesium after my showers and take 1 (I think it is 3 mgs) boron supplement a day.    My tooth sensitivity has gone down! I notice when I chew things or when I brush that I don't feel much of anything.   Hopefully that means a good report come my next dentist appoitment.    On the down side, my eyesight is still soooo blurry and I am still having big problems with brain fog and my lost hair has not grown in.   My sleep has been better but I am on vacation now.  If I get enough sleep I feel ok and can do most of what is required of me, but I don't feel good enough to greet the day with a smile - I still have depression.    I am glad that it was acknowledged that it will take some people 6 months to detox and not just 3.   I even think 6 months is very optomistic for someone that has had 50 years of health problems though (basically my whole life).   Thanks everyone for the advice.

Should have added to the above statement that I've been doing the topical magnesium and boron for years and that isn't the reason behind my teeth sensitivity getting better the last 2 weeks.

I'm 49 and at this point I'm planning on 9 months for (hopefully) a full detox. I'm getting close to 6 months now and have had a lot of improvements but I can definitely tell I'm still detoxifying. I made some errors early on that might have extended out my detox period though. Recently started upping my vitamin C to near bowel tolerance and it's helped especially with my gums. It's hard to believe I need so much (over 20 grams daily) and I know some people will not agree with the massive doses but I'm working with someone who provided me with extensive research on the subject and feel it is the right decision for me. My mom lost all her teeth around my age and died in her 60's and I just want a different outcome for my life if at all possible. I'm glad your teeth are less sensitive OP-that's a positive sign. 🙂

I found an interesting vitamin A connection. A couple of weeks ago my mom mentioned a documentary called Root Cause. https://youtu.be/lyW-GHVndGs

Initially, I dismissed it as I'm in the middle of deep detox, and i can only focus on so much at once. However, this morning one of my previous root canal molars is killing me.

The same thing happened a couple years back when I was exercising and spending a lot of time outside unknowingly detoxing. Back then I went to the dentist they couldn't find anything wrong with the tooth, but I was in tears from the pain and decided to have them pull it.

That got me thinking about what they use to pack the root. It's a plant based rubber called gutta-percha. It's part of the terpenoid family. Guess what else is part of the terpenoid family? Vitamin A.

Before going low VA I had terrible tooth sensitivity for at least 3 years. For example I could never eat a citrus fruit without experiencing pain for hours or sometimes days. I tried several diets and none did anything good to my teeth issues.

I am 70 days low VA and I can report an impressive teeth strenghtening. My sensitivy is about 80% gone, they only hurt during a detoxification cycle. They become stronger after every cycle. I am currently at the end of my third detox crisis with heavy flu like symptoms and I can already feel that my teeth will become even stronger and more resilient. I could now eat a lemon or an apple without any issue, in fact I even do.

I also want to notice that I drink a lot of apple juice, around 2 liters per day, sometimes soda, eat dates and I also use a lot of maple syrup or coconut sugar. High sugar intake doesn´t seem to impact in any negative way, my oral healht is better than when I drank tons of raw milk and avoided fruit.

I experienced tooth sensitivity whenever I supplemented with Vitamin K.

So I just discovered I have chipped a tooth. One of my wisdom molars. Never in my life have I had any issues with my teeth and I have not even eaten anything hard enough to brake it. What the h*ll is going on here? It was fine yesterday and i've only had soft foods today. Anyone experienced something similar?

I dont supplement with calcium, boron or magnesium (the latter only on occation)  but I eat a wide variety of foods. Started zeolite some 8 days ago and wee has a strong odor to it so am detoxing some nasty shit at least.

Anyone have any theory?

Do you get any vitamin K in your diet?
