Gray hair reversal

PreviousPage 2 of 2

@liz and @maryann that is awesome!!

My eyebrows were graying a lot much to my dismay. Some hair is reverting and you can see the brown root grown in. Very hard to get a pic, sorry.  There's still some gray but no new gray since we last shaped months ago- new growth is brown.   And I'm loving that.

On my head, the hair looks darker overall, and thick, there's dark new growth. Its only been 2 months on low A for me. Hoping to see a lot of improvement and happy for you!

I did a double take the other day because I thought something was on my husband's face but it was his beard hair!  Right around his mouth.    His facial hair had gone much whiter than ever lately, just around the time that he started having some breakouts (odd for him).    My guess is that over time I just gave way too much vitamin A to my husband, myself and my cats!

Sometimes it's not just about Vitamin A: I commented earlier that I have had hairs turn from gray to brown, but lately I have noticed more gray, despite being on a low vitamin A diet. Also, my hairloss has increased. I finally determined that this has been due to a combination of my grass allergy and eating grains like wheat, which cross-reacts with grass. Since going back to a diet of mostly meat and potatoes (and sugarcane and potato chips, which don't seem to bother me), my hairloss has ceased. Hopefully the pigment returns again.

Hi Eliza, remarkable how change in diet can show up quickly.  I think Grant said somewhere that gluten increases uptake of A so he avoids it.  And as someone who has been gluten free for years due to IBS and my autoimmune disease I can say with total certainty gluten elimination alone didn't resolve autoimmune disease. Might be safe once lass A in the body.

I am glad your hairloss has stopped and hope the color returns for you.  Don't know if this will help but I started shedding badly as soon as temps dropped to 50s and 40s at night, here in southern New England.  I don't touch gluten.

So I upped my water intake a LOT like up to 3 litres daily and it has stopped the shedding, which was becoming a fast frightening amount of hair loss.  I think circulating A from this low A diet causes sub- clinical dehydration everywhere  as the body tries to get rid of it and hair may be the last place to get available fluids, maybe the poison A builds up more.

Hope you feel better soon

I feel that my hair is growing fast and thick and I don't think I see a color change (at 5 mo)

I hope that my gray hair stays the gray color it is!    I love it.

I feel like this is the color I was waiting to be all my life.

Think of how handsome men look with their grays!

If I was to give one word of advice about gray hair it is:  Just be gray in that good hair style that has always worked for you.
