Joe's Progress

My grandfather loved ping pong and played at an expert level.    However, I never saw that.   He had fun playing everyone at every level.   Whoever he could lure into his ping-pong cellar would come out a better player...as he slowly brought you up a level, without you even knowing...

@joe2
I didn't mean "Alan Watts" the mystic, but "Alan Watt" the researcher. They are such polar opposites that I have to think it's intentional, the same way that if low A is mentioned, people will immediately associate the idea with Garret Smith and not Grant Genereux.
willhelp.me is extremely interesting, which is what makes him so dangerous. He has articles which suck you in, and every few sentences key into another hyperlink to another fascinatingly titled essay of his, so that you can experience what a turd does as the lever sends all of the tank's water down upon you.
Contentment is the antidote, however you find it. Stoicism has been my answer since I discovered Epictetus many years ago, now. I've actually taken up smoking my hand rolled cigarettes again after a month away. It was the nagging thought that the war on tobacco was never about health, obviously. So what is it really about? This nag was potentiated when, a few days ago, I saw a news story about a new policy in the Maldives, where, for all citizens born past a set date, tobacco is now illegal for them to consume. That led me to do some digging (as I like to do) which led me to a book called Smoke Screens: The Truth About Tobacco by Richard White. I will probably be ordering it.
A very interesting interview with the author is transcribed here: https://www.sott.net/article/299965-The-Health-Wellness-Show-The-Truth-About-Tobacco-with-Richard-White
@lil chick, I don't get what you mean by your anecdote. If you mean that these cointel folks are bringing me up a level, it is only in my seething contempt for them. If you mean that they are honing my discernment, then I agree 😀

Wow this old and this far down this many rabbit holes and this is the first I discerned there are two Alan Watt and Watts.  Yeh confident into the five nines range that it was and is intentional.  Feels like every lie that is so stupid is intentional.  Like when the guy says something stupid in your restaurant about what a beautiful restaurant you have here and how it would be a shame if it burned to the ground some night.

Will run through some of (probably never all of) willhelp.me over time.  Learned patience with such rabbit warrens years ago.  Even before I started reading Miles Mathis.  Even before Joseph P Farrell.  Will probably give more time to Allan Watt.  Wonder if I will dig around to find he was subverted and replaced as they did with Alex Jones and William Cooper.

Yeh, I think you have something there on Grant and Garrett.  I do wonder if lyl g did or is doing it on purpose.  Have known a few operators.  Doubt lyl g was born and or trained up to it.  I get the feeling he is just doing what comes easiest to him, like Mike Stone.  He might be getting handled by professional operators though.

Was familiar with how commercial tobacco is poisoned in the processing long ago (sugar, ammonia, nicotine, other chemicals,....).  Noteworthy that the Japanese from WWII generation did not get cancer even as they smoked like all the US soldiers / sailors did when they came home.  Have known and trained with a few.  The few Japanese I have known who lived here from 1960's on got horrific cancer in their 60's and 70's.  One in particular was my teacher's teacher.  Smoked constantly.  Died late 60's or early 70's.  All his siblings in Japan lived decades longer even while smoking the same.  So far the difference we found that might explain it is diet.  He ate American.  They ate traditional farmer / fishermen fair.  He showed us video sitting down to dinner with his siblings on his last visit home.  Our sushi chef would run us $1,500 for the spread on that table.  Not flashy.  Just good food.  Rice, vegetables, soups, meat, fish,.... all fresh and beautiful.

Is there clean tobacco to be had for rolling your own?

@Joseph, what I mean is that I hear that you wish you had philosophers to sit and talk with (at your level) but maybe it is more important for you to grow some philosophers right where you are planted.   Even if they don't realize you are doing it.

A loved one of mine has even had lung cancer and still smokes.    She lights up, takes a few puffs, and then puts out the ciggie for later.

Personally I don't know why anyone would knowingly draw smoke into their lungs, that seems like a death wish.    I tried to take on smoking when young, LOL, but it just gave me laryngitis etc.    I'm too delicate for such things.    Smoke in the lungs, LOL!    I'm always on a crash course to find clearer air, not smokier?   I don't get it.

Booze is my monkey and I can only seem to get it down to half a drink and not to zero.   Oh I guess coffee too.   I guess I have lots of monkeys if you include dairy.   And oreos, LOL.   But I scrape away the frosting!   haha

So for the first time in many years I am sick with the changing of the seasons. Sore throat, runny nose, body aches, headache, light headed; whole nine yards. Based in Grant's vitamin a as toxin paradigm, this would mean my body is in detox mode as opposed to my intox mode every other year past. The cold dry air is pulling retinol out in the same way people suffering with eczema have to moisturize directly out of the bath to avoid flareups.
I'm very curious if anybody else here has experienced this..

As I posted elsewhere, I'm down to 1/2 lb of fancy beef/day. After trying 3 different stores I have given up finding reasonably priced (less than $12/lb) beef which doesn't taste like chemicals. 1/2 lb is after 7 months, wherein I started at 2 lbs/day. What that looks like is 2 lbs of rice/bean with 1/2 lb beef for a big lunch, followed by 1 1/2 lb beans and rice in the evening, and 1/2 cup of oats with honey before bed.

I suspect that this is a uniquely Western problem with the altered meats. Regulatory capture was completed long ago in I assume all Western countries, but certainly in America. The recent Campbell's soup fiasco is a revelation of the method, a laughing up the sleeve, a cruel gaslighting. Campbell's soup is the tippy tippy top of the iceberg.

Thanksgiving for me was an interesting window in to how normal people live. My sister's 5 year old was sick and I got to see a masked child for the first time in a few years. I heard an urgent "pull your mask up!" so many times it was dizzying. When he sat at table he was allowed to remove his mask..
The other thing that got me was fancy tortillas which my sister made - when I say fancy I mean they come in a nice package looking raw and boast only having a few ingredients - wheat, canola oil, salt. One of the sisters read the fine print and was surprised to see that it was bioengineered. That didn't surprise me as I feel that a lot of these high dollar "health foods" are significantly unhealthier than the average. My reasoning is that the people who spend that extra to eat "healthy" have more disposable income for the inevitable and intractable and forever mysterious health problems.
The other thing was watching how they fry their food. 1/2" deep of store brand canola oil. The man fried me some bison (I brought my own beans and rice), and I did not mention how horrible this was (and tasted) though I thought it very much.
One of the children has had intractable constipation since potty training, and I learned that the go-to treatment now is, you guessed it, botox. The little one is due soon for his next injection. I researched a bit on this and saw that in the U.K., at least, "pediatric constipation" has risen 50% in the last 10 years. I really wonder about that.

What gets me in all of the above rambling is how root causes are never addressed. Why is this kid so uptight? Is the cure truly to paralyze his sphincter? The bigger question is why don't I speak up?
They said something else that stuck with me. A well-respected oncologist they know went ahead and, after giving birth, had a hysterectomy and double mastectomy as a preventative measure seeing as she has the BRAC2 gene. Also, an uncle of mine just had his prostate removed. When I said I was glad he's doing alright, being sick and all, they were miffed and said no, that isn't the case. I said, well having your prostate removed means you're not well... From my window in I can see that paralyzing and removing body parts is very much normalized in normieland. The transgender movement was only one prong of it.

I guess that's all for now. I'm on day 2 of feeling like crud, but with food, lots of sleep, hot baths and big fires in the woodstove I am noticeably getting better. Again I'm curious if anybody else has experienced this with the changing of the seasons and if any insight, please share. Thanks!

That window peek is unsettling. Masking your child? That alone is a level of neuroticism by the parents and forced estrangement on the kid that is difficult to watch. There's so many reasons not to say anything: prevent family harmony, avoid unnecessary discussions, which could turn into heated debates, protect the feelings of others, not having the energy to deal with a potential blowback. What I am saying: Don't be hard on yourself. Eventually, we are all adults and responsible for our own lives.

Get well soon!

Hi Joseph, thanks for the update.

I still believe that viruses are diseases (I'm not currently on the viruses-are-not-a-thing team, although is is tempting)  I will give the anti-virus people that we sure don't understand viruses very well.   And I am on the team of people who think we fight interlopers with vitamin A, (and other veg toxins) especially if we are overloaded with it/them.    I could even be talked into the body CHOOSING to have a virus for the catharsis of clearing VA's and veg toxins, raising a good fever for apoptosis, heavy production of mucus to float some bad things away, coughing, sneezing, and maybe even some gut-emptying for good measure.    I also think that perhaps it is best  to get sick every so often  to keep up with the current germs-- and that maybe it's easier to do that than to play catch-up.   If you are playing catch up, maybe you get a harsher case.

A question I would pose was:   did you get sick after your foray into normal-dom?    See, that is my thing, that I when I travel to visit my loved ones I almost always come back sick as a dog, and I may even be struck down while I'm still away.    Maybe you caught it from the kid.    People think that masks are a magic feather that will actually stop things like colds from spreading, but they don't.

OMG not another usage of botulin toxin.    In a child?    This should be illegal.

I must admit that those raw looking wraps are just what my husband uses for his fancy breakfast pizza that wow's the overnight relatives... People sometimes do rely more heavily on prepared foods when entertaining.

I have had to start coating my heels and lips with a bit of vaseline after showering because both were cracking and peeling.    I don't really know if there is extra VA release in winter (although I do remember the wapf saying that cold weather used up VA).     I just think my surfaces are delicate and not resilient.

We had a bit of snow today.    I'm always excited to see the first flakes!   Big, lazy, who-ville type flakes.

For the last few weeks I have been having an vit a dump.  Not really any flu or cold symptoms ..  itchy bumps on back, ear wax, dry heels, chicken skin arms, yellow tinted Pooh, red eyes.  Glad to know this is normal going into winter.

You probably did right by not saying anything, unless they seek you for advice, most of the time they don’t listen.

I am not sure where you live, but have you tried looking at Craigslist for a grass fed beef?  Some will let you buy 1/4 beef .

Don't know what's up with the beef on low vit A diet. White fish like cod or egg whites, chicken/turkey breasts are much lower in vit A. @ginny grass ed beef is especially high in vit A in comparison to other meats. Most importantly red meat is high in heme iron which can be problematic for some people. White meat is low in zinc, but you can just take some zinc glycinate that is not a problem.. You should take some extra anyways while detoxing vit A...

Simply I wouldn't eat just red meat all the time. No reason for it..
