If women are so bad, how do you explain thoroughly-female me, who started a thread about RFK and his vitamin-A crusade?

Wiser than to ever try splaining you @lil-chick .  Beauty in the mistery.

I have older sisters and sisters-in-law.  More than 20 nieces.  A social worker, attorney and special education teacher have ganged up and involuntarily committed a nephew.  They recently tried it on an older brother.  Until last year, they were threatening to do the Nurse Ratched dance on a few of us.  This is not a commentary on male vs female.  Have seen these 3 gang up on females who question their authoritay.  One guess how many masks they wore.  The attorney wore a mask to another nephew's wedding in February, 2025.

I stopped telling them about low vA a long time ago.  I send them links every so often.  Every one of Grant's updates.  All siblings are older.  One is listening and intrigued.  Cooked a low vA dinner a few times for us this last year.  Her sun intolerance has improved notably.  Thinking she is lurking here without telling me.  She knows way more than the links I sent.

Some of the best links sent pertain to cognitive dissonance.  Grant's updates flip their brains as they all have related experience and maladies.  30% of the elders and the kids are health care professionals.  Our parents made the family's wealth in health care destroying standard of care.  Amazing how often they forget that "standard of care" at least in US legalese is the MINIMUM that medical professionals can get away with performing.

Thank you for this post @joseph-6

Well written and thought out.  I like @eio's answer.  The Nurse Ratched's of our lives do not need us to explain more.  Unfortunate that some folk listen with thoughts in mind that we are guilty until proven innocent and everything we say can and will be used against us.

Before that wedding in February, that niece / social worker demanded a private conference to discuss what she felt were dangerous personal character flaws.  The public reply was that all future private conversations were unwelcome and public conversations were a bad idea.  AKA stay away.  Surprised me to see the other 25 participants in that group conversation at the next gathering.  They were all exhubberant and relieved while that social worker sat by pretty much stewing.  Seems no one realized that all 25 of them were being attacked by Nurse Ratched and they were all done with it.  It only took one person to state it publicly.

Hope some similar turn of events comes your way.  And in the meantime, your low vA shows symptom improvements that prompt questions from trustworthy folk.

Is the person who made up this supplement scheme:   https://ggenereux.blog/discussion/topic/new-protocol-to-fix-iron-copper-toxicity/ ...a "nutri-douche"?   :).      Joe 6 has come up with a very funny and useful term, I think.

The original post on this thread hits me differently at different times depending on my mood.    It really is a breathtaking rant.   Today it made me laugh.   I'm glad it got bumped.

The beauty of the promise of vaccines and other medicine is what makes people cling to the con so very, very hard.    Hope springs eternal.

I regret most of the health influencing I've done with family and friends and acquaintances.   I wish I could take most of it back.    It makes me humble and in fact keeps me from proselytizing too much about my low vitamin A experiment.   By the time people come here I think most of them are like me and have been beaten down by their mistakes so hard that they have lost faith in their ability to help others.    Maybe that is the best kind of health influencer, though.

Lolololol.

Well said young lady.  Reminds me years ago I brought a movie home from the library.  Had to work next day so agreed to watch it with my wiser beautifuller smarter all around superior mate when I got home from work.  Got home couple hours late to find her stewing.  She was 15 minutes into it and mad.  Hated it.  Sat down and started watching.  2 minutes in I was laughing out loud.  Kind of made it worse.  Few more minutes in, she came and sat down curious.  Within fifteen minutes, we were both rolling.

Happened on another move a few years later too.  Ridiculous movies.  Well done ridiculous.  She recommends them to others now.  Weird how that works.

I was the same way about Airplane.  Until I saw it in a bar with 30 other guys laughing at the stupidest stuff and realized it was ridiculous on purpose (and a couple beers in) I hated it.  That night I thought it was hilarious.

So have you seen Fight Club or Snatch?

And to be sure, I doubt anyone could be civil and honest to a Nurse Ratched in their life without being able to appreciate @joseph-6 's rant.  That reply in a group text that made her sit down and leave people alone at that wedding was well played and pleasant in the extreme.  She would have preferred it to sound abusive.  Would have licensed her full victimhood to flourish.

BTW, thank you for highlighting that term Nutri-douche.  That one is going to be needed going forward.  Given how many ideas I have worked for more than 5 years, I have advocated more often than I wish.  The ones that bother me the most are like WAPF where I worry to this day if someone got the kind of damage from it that I got or if they will.  Funny now as folk ask me about low vA far more often than I remember being asked about other ideas.  I think it is because I offer so little on the topic.  I just tell them it is probably a good idea but not sure how well it will work for you.  Pretty obvious my life was wrecked without it.  You can read about it for yourself.  Whether or not and how much you get from it will be up to you though.  Not hard to tell them the obvious that vA is a toxin and wrecking us.  The rest if up to them.

This part was also thrilling: "men are intended by God to upset the apple truck, set it on fire and piss on it. This is primarily why we are killed off in endless wars, in brutal occupations, and vilified at every turn. If a man does not have the courage of his convictions, then then he is no man."

It could be the yin and yang of things that when things go wrong women might try to build on or renovate from what is there, while men might rather start from scratch.   Both approaches have their benefits and we are probably best off when both sides are heard.
