Liver Flushes

Quote from John on December 21, 2022, 10:52 amThere's a group on FB that could guide you through the process. I've done 8 liver flushes. But I didn't quite follow the whole protocol but got through them without a problem and was able to flush out more stones than what could fit in a tennis ball.
Andreas Moritz did them every 2 weeks initially but it depends on how well you handle them. I the first 3 about 3 weeks apart, a couple two weeks and a couple a month part. I didn't do colonics and didn't take the last 1 or 2 doses of Epsom salt. And I did all except one during the day as it was more convenient for me.
Would I recommend it? YES!!! It should be the first thing a person should consider doing if they are having health issues, especially anything to do with digestion. A clogged liver and gallbladder will effect bile flow and compromise the liver and it's ability to handle bacteria and toxins and all the other hundreds of functions it does. I've had constipation issues since I was a kid, and severely the past 3 years trying to find a cure, trying everything, and dependent on laxatives, going through cycles of hell, and after 8 flushes this year, my bowel movements have NEVER been this frequent and regular. Though it took some time after the 8th flush to get to here. It's been one incredible month of bowel movements... my 8th flush was may 2 or 3 months ago.

Quote from Orion on December 21, 2022, 11:05 amI think I got up to about 15 Moritz flushes before I started low VA 4yrs ago, did them every couple weeks. I might get back into them in the new year, see how I respond to trying them now. Pre low VA they didn't really give me the mega positive affects I was hoping for.

If you dont do colonics, do you have any alternative for clearing your bowels pre and post flush? What did you do to have incredible bowel movements this month? I've done 5 flushes so far, and I am still unwell. I am considering doing them weekly, however I do not like colonics, there are invasive, expensive and taxing on the body.

Quote from John on December 21, 2022, 10:44 pmThat's the thing, the first two epsom salt doses seems to work for most people in causing a bowel movement before the flush, except for me. A few hours after taking the olive oil mixture I still didn't have a bowel movement, so I took some pineapple juice and v8 mixed with miralax. I also drank some hot lemon ginger tea a little bit after. That worked one time and didn't other times. When it got later in the evening with no bowel movements, I took maybe 15 to 30ml of milk of mag one time, and soon after that I had a bowel movement. The milk of mag probably had nothing to do with it because it usually takes 10 hours for it to work on me. Then in the morning I'll take the third dose of epsom salt. Usually this second bowel movement is where most of the stones get flushed out. I usually skip the 4th cause I feel like its too much magnesium for me. I've relied on milk of mag so much for emergencies the past three years, it takes its toll on the body. Electrolyte imbalances, etc. So after the third dose and later during the day I'll eat something lite, but take a dose of miralax before hand, maybe with some pineapple juice and or v8 mix again. I try to take another dose of miralax in for the day, to help things flush out remaining stones and help digestion, as I'm all out of bile, and constipation would surely happen if I dont take it. I need a couple days to build up the bile again... Digestion have taken a week or two to get back into the swing of things.
I've done a couple colonics a couple years ago and I probably wouldn't do anymore, it is invasive and could be dangerous. It was a little too painful for me at certain times to think it wouldn't do harm. Plus you're flushing out all the good bacteria with everything.
This month, I think my bile flow is just better with all those stones out of the way. I slice up fresh organic ginger(seems to be more potent) and Numi lemon ginger tea bags every morning, then I have a Pure brand peanut butter protein bar, and two Kind honey and oats granola bar(might be too much sugar and other junk but I haven't found a better alternative yet and I've seem to have a craving for it now) I'd take two malic capsules size 00 that I fill myself. That's about 1.5g of malic acid total. Then I'd have couple small green apples peeled. And that usually follows with a bowel movement about an hour or two later. Then I'd have an El pollo loco Chipotle Chicken avocado burrito with some extra red spicy sauce which I think helps a little with bowel movements. Then I might have another peeled green apple, from Target. and a couple hours later I might have another protein bar cocao flavor. I'd go to the gym weighlifting and half the time do saunas. Harder to get myself in the sauna during the winter. Then I might have rice with veggies and chicken. I'm very limited on the food I can eat. I was doing a lot of Chipotle chicken bowls with guacamole but they put cilantro in everything and I believe that gives me sleep issues cause cilantro moves mercury and other metals around. So lately Ive stopped it, and those head issues have gone with it. Sometime I have el pollo loco burritos for lunch and dinner cause there's nothing else to eat.. I use to my own basmati rice, and have it with rotissori chicken and add fresh avocado, but that vitamin A, and gut issues as it may feed bad bacteria. Seems in the colder weather I can't handle the whole avocados as well as I do in the warmer weather. But I think the fresh ginger tea and probably the apples are key - oh and possible the malic acid may have a part in it too. Ginger helps with motility in the small intestine. There is definitely less bloating in the small intestine as I feel food is actually moving through there in a timely manner. The idea is to make sure food is very mushy until it reaches the large intestine. Bile is key in this but chewing thoroughly and diet that is conducive to that purpose also will help. Beef and burgers and buscuitsm, breads, buns and even the flour tortillas would always clog me up.... but seems I can handle flour tortillas better than the rest... but now I can eat burgers and fries again back to back days without it getting stuck... its miracle. I should mention that prior to my flushes I was taking 2 malic acid capsules each with lunch and dinner and sometimes breakfast for about 3 months, so that likely did a lot of loosening and softening of stones.
How many stones do you flush out on average and has there been one where a lot more came out like mine? I think until you've flushed out the motherload then you'll start to see improvements. I did three flushes after the motherload came out, and I'm not done yet. Just the past couple of weeks of taking the malic acid capsules, I'm starting to feel some discomfort irritation at my liver area again, I believe it's more stones moving down to the exit and will need another flush to get them out....
Could you list what your diet is like?
Are you sensitive to exhaust or chemicals?
Do you have any pain joint pains or sensitive to pain?

Quote from Jean on December 22, 2022, 9:02 amThanks for your detailed answer, that was very useful.
After 5 flushes under my belt, the results have been pretty uneven, but I would say on average I flush a couple of table spoons worth of stones, and I am yet to see a motherload which I am looking forward to.
As for my diet, for breakfast I usually eat 2 poached eggs (or avocado) on sourdough toasts with butter, 1 coffee with almond milk, 1 green apple. Im having a hard time digesting eggs these days, they would sit in my stomach for hours, I try to push them down with fruits, nuts or laxatives.
I usually get a light lunch due to low appetite, can get some fruits with nuts or a smoothie or a salad.
For dinner, I usually eat meat (fish, chicken or beef/lamb) with white rice and veggies with a soup.
I eat a pizza once per week, and 2-3 pastries per week. I don't snack on sweats, soda or cakes, I'd rather snack on fruits, nuts and olives. I only drink still or sparkling water.
I am indeed very sensitive to exhaust and fragrances, I never use perfume, deodorant or air fresheners.
I do suffer from joint pains (been diagnosed with osteoarthritis about 10 years ago, Im 44 today) had 1 surgery on my knee and my elbow. My body is very stiff and quite sensitive to pain in general.

The answers are in the details, our bodies are super complex, but we can figure it out one small piece at a time. It's memory and organization that I need to work on so that the connections can be made. I have to learn to write important info down as soon as I get them. Using our brains to figure out what is compromising is a bit of a....whatchacallit, challenge to say the least.

That's great, that's two table spoons less of stones in your gallbladder/liver. Just keep going but I wouldn't do them a week apart. You have give your body time to recuperate and for more stones to loosen up and move down the ducts. Andreas did them two weeks apart but he recommends 3 to 4 weeks between flushes.
I've always eaten a good amount of eggs my whole life (I'm 46) and 10 years ago I started eating 3 eggs a day with broccoli and then just with oatmeal as a way to cut weight for bodybuilding but continued the diet as my normal breakfast most days of the week. If I were to guess, I'd say eggs in my diet did more harm than good, from the cholesterol to the vA among other things. The oatmeal was just as bad because it's anti-nutrient, it especially sucks calcium from your foods, and my teeth. At the 5 year was when I noticed I started loosing enamel in an alarming rate along my gumline, like it was sawed off. I'm starting to se how calcium and other electrolyte balances are playing into my health issues.
Anyhow you and I have similar health issues but I am certain I am more advanced. I should have been dead or in a rotting in a mental institution 3 years ago if I were left in the hands of my doctors. I'm going off on a tangent again. So the more sensitive you become to things that are bad for you, the sooner and harder it effects you, and the easier you can make the connection and identify those harmful things. Anyhow I've tried poached eggs a few time about 3 years ago, and my body doesn't it. I can't remember the exact reasons why, possibly something to do with histamine ,but definitely something to do with it not being cooked all the way. Sourdough seems to reek havoc for me, possibly something to do with feeding yeast, candida and bad gut bacteria. Coffee also does something to to me. Dehydrates but also has mold toxins, and a few other things I can't remember reading about...I've cycled it a few times, and it always turned out bad, even with decaff, black. I believe it was hard on my compromised liver. I was eating a lot of almonds and walnuts before my constipation became very severe 3 years ago. I was snacking on them like candy. i think the issue with nuts is that if you don't chew it well, and your constipated, it can cause issues when your gut sucks out all the water and be like little rocks, pressing up into your intestinal walls, maybe thats how those pouches are created,(colitis? or something). I do wonder if runny eggs are worse for constipation than cooked eggs. I imagine the runny eggs coating your small intestinal villi and solidify making it stuck. But I think it may be other things jamming up down below that makes the eggs harder to go move along, than the eggs themselves.I usually get a light lunch due to low appetite, can get some fruits with nuts or a smoothie or a salad.
For dinner, I usually eat meat (fish, chicken or beef/lamb) with white rice and veggies with a soup.

Pizza is hard on me, and usually clogs me up as well as increasing body toxicity from my gut to my head. I tried cycle it back in many times and it always reminds me to stay away, lol. Although I'm curious to try it again now that my constipation and digestion has made big gains. The dough and the cheese seems to be a bad combo for me. I can't do most fruts anymore and I loved fruits all my life. But not I realize it was a big factor in my periodontal disease and calcium loss, the acid and the sugar. Last I've tried, I can't do pastries, was a big cause of constipation for certain.
I am indeed very sensitive to exhaust and fragrances, I never use perfume, deodorant or air fresheners.
At the peak of it, I was SEVERELY sensitive to exhaust, ciggarette smoke, BBQ smoke, fragrances, chemicals, you name it...even a whiff of those scrungy like tape after a blood draw, was like a knife went through my nose and into brain. This has to do with our compromised liver. Phase 1 and Phase 2 are out of sync. One breaks down stuff, the other puts together...one too fast or slow, it will spill harmful stuff into our blood stream wreaking havoc on us. I'm also learning it has to do with reactive oxygen species and free radicals which the liver is involved in. I'm wondering if you've had any amalgam fillings, I had a mouthful for almost 4 decades, health issues since I was 6, can't remember if my amalgams came first or after health issues.
I do suffer from joint pains (been diagnosed with osteoarthritis about 10 years ago, Im 44 today) had 1 surgery on my knee and my elbow. My body is very stiff and quite sensitive to pain in general.
I've had cycling joint pains and stiffness since I was a teenager, It got very severe about 4 years ago, It was so bad that just one day of high exposure I'd wake up with my wrist and hand joints so painful and stiff that I knew. It was only by pure luck that I made the connection to what was contributing to it. Could it also be a contributing factor for you, it's likely. With our chronic health issues it usually involves more than one before it the symptoms get bad enough to demand more of our attention. If we could identify some and correct one of them, it may stop the severe symtpoms even it doesn't completely solve the issues until we correct the other factors. For example fractures from osteoporosis, safe to say many factors are involved in causing the body to lose calcium from bones, we don't know what they are, could be lack of calicum in diet, could be lack of vitamin K to put calcium in the right spots, could be lack of vitamin D to absorb calcium which in turns causes high active D that signals osteoblast to release calcium from bones, could be too much sodium, those are what is going on from within that contributes to thinning bones, this in turn makes the bones more susceptible to outside factors that of which were not previously factors, small impacts. A simple fall, or him bump on the wall turning that corner in the building now can cause fractures. The simplest and surest way to avoid fractures would not be to fix the problems from within but to avoid impacts. That doesn't solve the real issues within our bodies, but it has stop the severe symtpoms. Joint stiffness, sensitivity to pain, exhaust, chemicals, etc, have internal factors, but it also has external factors, we work on the simplest and easiest ones first that will give the most relief from our symptoms... The issue is sometimes those simple and easy factors are hard to see, cloaked by our personal bias and propaganda that even the smartest and the brightest are not immune to either of the two. Only experience and the propagandist can break people free form their personal bias' and the spell of propagandas. I've tested for the four major causes of arthritis mainstream doctors will diagnose for and was clear of them. I do wish to tell you what it was to that saves me from severe joint pains and arthritis but I am afraid it is too soon. I have to convince to you first that I'm of sound mind and reason. Let's first resolve your constipation.

Like you said people can do dozens of flushes and keep getting stones, far more stones than would fit in their gallbladder and liver ducts. How do you know the stones stop? If someone does a flush and they get no stones they would normally stop and wouldn't try another flush but if they did another flush they would possibly get more stones. If they didn't get more stones a second time it still isn't evidence the stones are gallstones, it could just be that the chemistry of the bile has changed or some other reason. Also the stones have a different appearance externally and internally from gallstones. If you leave a stone out at room temperature it will start to soften (and from memory melt)...
Most people that do the flush will get stones, whereas most people do not have gallstones... If someone actually has gallstones the liver flush is probably something to avoid, doing the flush could result in that person needing emergency surgery. A better approach would be to use diet and perhaps malic acid to soften and breakup the stones rather than try to pass them out of the gallbladder with a liver flush.
@tim-2
I've done eight flushes, the stones are different leading up to my 5th with released the motherload. If its bile, ollive oil and epsom salt causing these stones, the flushes should produce similar results but it does not. I have also now have the best bowel movements in my 46 years of chronic constipation at the most frequency ever. I attribute this to releasing the stones and restoring space for bile as well as flow. My chemical sensitivities has improved as well, a sign of better liver function.
I've released about a fist size volume of stones, it's incredible that all that came from my gallbladder/liver. I assume that I've gotten most of it out. Now if I were to produce more stones than can't seem to be possibly fit into my gallbladder and liver, I'd start to question a little more where they are coming from but that hasn't happened yet...and who knows how fast stones can build up again? For now I'm 99% convinced those stones came from my liver/gallbladder and not formed in my gut from the protocol itself. Your belief aligns with what mainstream TV doctors say, to me they do it to keep the propaganda going for job security, big pharma, etc...cause God forbid if people found out liver flushes helps resolve their health issues...

Exposure to what substance led to you to joint pain? I think gluten and wheat tend to give me joint pain and overall stiffness of the body. When I am in a fasted state, I tend to be more flexible, aches and pains are significantly reduced.
Did you do you anything in particular during your flush prep leading to your motherload? Ive ordered some tinctures (chanca piedra and gold coin grass) to help break stones in the liver. I started drinking apple cider vinegar daily to soften the stones.
I tend to digest boiled eggs a little bit better than poached eggs for some reason. Fried eggs are the biggest offenders, they would make burp the whole day and drain my energy levels.
Other symptoms include a very itchy scalp with hair loss, brain fog, lot of mucous constantly forming in my throat so much so that my voice is now muffled, making it very weak and stifled. Excessive sweating in high heat and during exercising, terrible physical stamina, my breath gets heavy very quickly. Strong body odour, sensitivity to sunlight, constant feeling of doom and gloom.

It sounds like you might have candida/mold issues, all theses issues usually come together. I would probably cut out the sourdough bread, the coffee, nuts and limit eggs for starters and see how that goes. Anything fermented should be off limits as well like ACV. I believe your body is in a constant state of alarm, like fight or flight triggered by things from within and the outside environment. I've had that doom and gloom many time in the early years, it would be severe about 2 a year , it's more like an anxiety attack that last about two weeks before it subsides. You have to figure out what the triggers are, one is the good you eat and the health of your gut bacteria. The other is toxins in your living environment. Moldy home possibly, chemical exposures,....I think being able to sweat is better than not sweating at all, at least your detoxing. Maybe saunas would help you sweat out all the bad stuff sooner. When your body is already in a exhaustive state, working out may not be the best, may exhaust it more. I've been there and done that too, I believe it's called adrenal fatigue.
Looking back at my log, I was taking malic acid at least twice a day for about a month, I did the 4th flush about 18 days prior. Then I took malic acid at 11pm, about 16 hours after my first epsom dose at 7am. And I went to the gym for 10 days straight prior to the flush with half of it ending with saunas. Looks like i took a capsule of artichoke two days in a row prior to the flush which is suppose to help with bile production, so maybe that helped. I stop taking it cause didn't seem like my gut liked it. But it did seem to help with constipation initially, very loose stools but thought it caused me more toxicity issues later doses. Might be a combination of those things. I think what matters more is that you continue to get stones out, 2 tablespoons at a time is still good progress, conditions might just be different where you won't flush out that many at a time. Honestly I would do the malic acid powder from Nutricost and fill them with your own capsules. If you have candida/gut dysbiosis issues, apple juice may not be good for you as the sugar feeds them. I tried the apple juice and it flared up my candida, could feel it in my mouth and throat in the morning and made me feel toxic. That's why I believe you have similar issues, cause of the mucus in your throat and all the other similar conditions.
I imagine your sleep isn't great?
Do you have any mercury fillings?
Do you notice any swollen lymph nodes anywhere? Especially under the jaw and neck area? You can feel for them. youtube how to check yourself. I have two swollen nodes under my jaw, at the peak of my chemical sensitivity they were largest, after three years, they have been slowly shrinking this year around the time I started taking malic acid, but also soon after taking lugol's iodine 2%. Waiting to see when it's no longer swollen if my chemical sensitive will be go away too.
