MCS, Multiple Chemical Sensitivities

PreviousPage 2 of 2

@ginny wow I'd be  lucky if I can be a mile away from a cell tower here in the city.  Fortunately the power diminishes drastically over distance. I'm very surprised that a tower 10 miles can effect you.  You are definitely more sensitive than me as far as MCS and it sounds like EMF's as well. But my exposure levels here are much higher and causes me issues daily. Strangely enough I've managed emfs better than my MCS. Exhaust exposure is on a daily basis is killing me more than the EMF's, no complete escape when living in a  vehicle.  Even with everything closed, it still makes it's way in through the cracks and crevasses.

  Electromagnetic fields from the power grid is much harder to escape and does more harm to me than wireless signals.  Where ever my van may be there are always city lamps on streets and parks powered by underground lines with it's sphere of influences covering every square foot of the city.  I have like 2 and half spots that I've found where I can stay safe during the day, and one barely tolerable just to park and sleep, every where else I've tried causes inflammation in just a short period. I feel stuck and trapped here not knowing a safe place outside of it.

I'm curious where your location is that you can be 10 miles from a cell tower, that's  a place I'm interested in except for the orange  internet or power lines you may have there.

What all are you eating?

@john   south of the Canadian border north of civilization

@joe2
breakfast : 20o grams of beans, 150 grams of meat, 1/4 cup brown jasmine rice, 2-5 bubbies pickles, 1 mostly kamut flatbread, 2 RiceCakes , salt,  water , sometimes apple or apple sauce.

dinner : 150 g beans, 100 g meat, 1/4 cup bj rice, 2 rice cakes.

meat includes- beef, lamb, turkey, chicken

beans - cannellini, black, pinto, red, cranberry,

Nice plan.  Did you used to eat a lot of copper?  Or get it through the plumbing?

BTW, basmati is far superior to jasmine.

@ginny, way to cold for me up there but if I knew it was EMF and MCS safe I would pay to hate the cold.

@joe2

I like the idea of basmati, lower glycemic index and less arsenic but it seems to cause me for gut issues than jasmine.  I think because it feeding my bad bacteria.   I may give it another shot though.

Pricey but we get 25# bags shipped direct for close to half what grocery stores charge.

@joe2

At half off that's still twice as expensive as a 20lb basmati bag from costco for 25$. I may try a bag from Target.
I've heard California grown rice has a lot of arsenic, not sure about the organic.  The Costco is grown in foothills of the Himalayas which supposedly has less arsenic.

Word I got from Lundberg is zero on the arsenic.  Apparently the arsenic is a hold over from fields that were previously used for cotton.  Yep, a buck a pound at Costco is the going rate for decent rice from all over.  For now Lundberg is higher on my trust scale.  Seems $4/pound is what it runs.

@joe2

I need independent testing! lol  I'll try it out and see how my gut dysbiosis takes it.
