BREATH This book will change your life (100%, "overnight")

PreviousPage 4 of 11Next

Just to precise that what I wrote about my thesis etc. was more than 10 years ago and since then things have only gotten worse and worse and everybody who looks at it with open eyes will laugh at the folly of most of "modern science" every single day. Ok this time I really stop. 😉

Thank you @Dino for your content. I am now reading the second book you pointed to : The Oxygen Advantage, and I find it as interesting as the first one you mentioned.

@dino  I am grateful for your posts and insight.

Thanks for your message @dino!

@dino

You can start by reading:

normalbreathing.com

Patrick McKeown books "The Oxygen Advantage" & "Close your mouth" and also the book I speak about here. There are TONS of references in them but if you dont want to read them I cannot force you to do it and see how much wrong yoy are.

No I don't want to buy and read two books. If what you are talking about is true then there should be a lot of easy to reference evidence to directly link to. The fact you are not being straightforward about my request tells me there isn't much evidence.

Concerning A & "science" there is a big difference between real science (direct experience through space and time) with botched modern science due to vested interests. If you dont see the difference then I will stop this discussion here because it is useless. Same for CO2 stuff. I give tou books you refuse to read and then talk like you know.

What you are doing here is what a lot of fake gurus do, you're trying to redefine the meaning of words, in this case "science" and you are creating a way of explaining why science you disagree with is wrong, it's all due to corruption. If you think the vA science is wrong due to vested interests you haven't read much or any of it.

Just to precise that what I wrote about my thesis etc. was more than 10 years ago and since then things have only gotten worse and worse and everybody who looks at it with open eyes will laugh at the folly of most of "modern science" every single day. Ok this time I really stop.

The folly of most of modern science? The same modern science that allows you to even know about the existence of vitamin A and CO2 in the first place? What you are writing is incoherent rambling at this point.

By the way people practice these breathing methods for thousands of years, thousands of books have been written on the subject yet you come with an Atlantic article and that's it? It would be very laughable if it was not dangerous. People nowadays all fear CO2 and are putting themselves in hell because of that.

It's dangerous for me to suggest that people make sure their homes are well ventilated? What on earth are you on about? Thousands of books! LOL I'm still waiting for one reference from you. By the way, it has been known for thousands of years that liver (retinol) cures the beginning stages of xeropthalmia, curious that you're willing to ignore that if ancient wisdom appeals to you:

Night Blindness and Ancient Remedy

In the history of treating night blindness, the ancient Egyptian, the Babylonians, the Greeks, and many other cultures after them, used animal liver as treatment, like what we did in RAK.

In the Egyptian papyrus Ebers (1500 B.C.) the recommended cure was:[1] “Roasted ox liver, pressed, applied (topical to the eye).” Another ancient Egyptian papyrus, Kahun 1 (1825 B.C.), a gynecological treatise, mentions “instructions for a woman, cannot see, to eat raw liver of an ass.”[2]

The Assyrian medical texts (700 B.C.) describe night blindness. They thought it was caused by rays of the moon and cured by application of ass's liver to the eyes. They did not put the liver itself in the eye but used the extracted oil and probably enjoyed eating the cooked liver. It is very likely that the ancient Egyptian ritual treatment also ended with the patient eating the liver.

The Greeks shifted the recommendation from topical application to frank eating “raw beef liver, soaked in honey, to be taken once or twice (daily) by mouth.” Galen (130 AD-210 AD), recommends: “Continuous eating of… liver of goats.”[3]

It is clear that the choice of the animal is influenced by its availability in the community. The Chinese Sun-szu-mo (7th century AD) in his 1000 Golden Remedies describes a cure by administration of pig's liver.[4]

As recently as 1978 Hussaini et al.:[5] Observed several treatment sessions of night blindness in rural Java. The juice of lamb liver was applied topically to the eyes of night-blind children. The procedure was exactly as described by the ancient Egyptians, “except for one small addition: Rather than discarding the remaining organ, the (practitioners) fed it to the affected child… This was never considered part of the therapy itself.” Similarly, in 1928 Aykroyd[6] wrote: “I have been told of a custom of steaming the eyes over cooking liver, which is then eaten,” as a remedy for night blindness in the Canadian Newfoundland Island.

@tim-2

I have put a link full of references on its very first page and since nobody can be that stupid, I conclude that you are simply completely dishonest.

As for science etc. I will not add anything else because you are really a lost case on that point.

I will not answer to you anymore and let others lose their time with you if they judge it necessary, for me you are like a great joke and I wish you good luck in life, really. If it is so difficult for you to try something 10 minutes or accept that you can learn something or be wrong I cannot do anything for you except wishing you all well.

Best to you and all the people who still bother answering you (I sincerely mean it). I stop here as far as you are concerned.

@dino

wtf... the link has the first couple of chapters of a book and zero references to any studies or reliable sources showing that low CO2 levels in the blood is a common problem, what are you on about?

I'm a lost case for pointing out your fallacies? LOL

Try what for ten mins? A breathing technique? Nevermind the fact that i've studied vedic knowledge and qigong for years what does that have to do with evidence for low CO2 in the blood?

No you are the joke and I have no tolerance for those that think they are guardians of health wisdom but are the opposite. There are many ill people coming to this forum seeking answers, if you are giving answers I will demand that you provide sound evidence. Thus far you have failed.

Basically, this is THE book to read if you want to restore your health and keep it fine your whole life:

LOL, sounds too good to be true Dino! wait...

@tim-2 Ray Peat (your true guru, you know) has hundreds of so-called "science" and big names references and much guys like you who "know it all" roam forums and agress everyone with their so-called superior intelligence yet all that has come up with that is the most unnatural and dangerous diet there is. But of course "all is context". It is a very good example of "science" vs reality. Now you are quite the same so further discussion is impossible. But yes, you can say you are "right" and have shown fallacies of every single being who is lucky enough to not agree with you. Your 1'000 posts of most nonsense and scientific references you throw at will without understand any is the living proof of the Peat style and is worrisome.

Now I will ignore you because well yes you are "too smart" to understand for me. At least people can judge this by themselves and conclude.

Good luck my friend, you will need it.

@dino

Again, wtf... Where on earth did you get that I was a Ray Peat fan? If you go on the Ray Peat forum and look at the vA thread I have strongly criticized Ray Peat's teachings and inspired hostility there for doing so in a similar way to the hostility I get here for not always agreeing with the zeitgeist that frowns on anything that is not totally condemning of vA.

Also point out where I have stated how intelligent I am. Btw your arguments are a whole jumble of fallacies... The Ray Peat thing is a strawman and implying that I'm delusional about my level of intelligence because I use a lot of references is a non sequitur. I discuss logical fallacies because you can't have rational debate if they are used. Mocking me for discussing them really says a lot about your de rigueur when it comes to establishing truth.

When it comes to science you are the equivalent of a bull in a china shop. Stick to jiu jitsu or something. I'm guessing you'll need it seeing as you get mad with other people so easily or maybe you're just like that online?

@tim-2  Actually I have no "problem" with anyone except you and it is not "personal". The fact is, none can start any subject without you coming and giving "contrarian" opinion even when you have clearly no clue about the subject. Then you simply refuse, in advance, to read what is presented to you and stick to your opinion no matter what. Here it is absolutely clear to anyone who actually has any idea about respiratory phisiology that you dont know anything about it yet you continue in your blind alley and basically destroy all possible discussion. You do that again and again. What is the goal? I mean, if the subject is of interest to you then read about it and try what is presented and try to understand deeper. If it doesnt interest you why bother coming here and telling nonsense? Every single reader of the material presented will know, especially if he tries the method, that you are completely wrong, but you continue to ignore facts, refuse to "do it" and continue more and more of the same circus... what do you want in the end? That we all write "thank you Tim, you are so right, we all who see by direct experience that what you say is wrong will all agree so you stop flooding every single topic?". You want to be the only one to write all the time even when it is deadly wrong and you have no idea about rhe subject? Dont you see that basically it is so? Anyway, people can all read the link and books and try and see and change their lives for the better no matter how much you interfere with the classical nonsense and only that counts in the end, so let it be.
