Vitamin K2
Quote from Orion on February 2, 2019, 2:47 pmGetting aluminum out can be done with silica. I did high dose silicic acid this Fall to help remove high aluminum(listed high on my last hair mineral test). Just completed a new hairtest and waiting on the results.
Also have some pure MK4, going to state using it again, 1.5mg couple times per week, and see how I react.

Interesting. I had high aluminum on my last hair test over 6 months ago too and didn't know silica was a way to get rid of it. I had been doing diatomaceous earth for a few months but stopped because I thought all my problems were, at the root of it, because of vitamin A. Anyway, I'll start up again. How did you take silica? What form and dose? Do you think you had detox symptoms from it?
Also interested in how you think you got high aluminum. For me I think it is my addiction to canned seltzer water. Thanks for the info and I hope your aluminum came down on your hair test.

Quote from Guest on February 3, 2019, 12:32 amOrion: please keep us informed about the results after a few weeks on the K2 (though once again I dont know whether supplements work as the real one. Another solution would be to increase the meat consumption or going something like 100% beef/rice (lots of beef) with coconut water and sauerkraut (home made)).
For the aluminum detox I've also read that high silica water helps to detox it so would be interesting to drink it for a few weeks and test again (think Volvic or Fiji water). Adding epsom salts baths could help as well for general detoxification.
So we would have something like low-A diet with mostly or 100% meat and home made sauerkraut + silica water + epsom salts baths. Of course all this while limiting exposure to toxins (organic etc).
Best,
Dino

But if you eat a diet of beef/wild game etc. your should not accumulate PUFA's and should be able to detoxify them after a while. Sauerkraut may also be beneficial for restoring a part of damaged gut flora (this goes against Ray Peat but I don't agree with his theory that all gut flora is basically bad and that taking antibiotics is good; not what I have witnessed myself on many occasions). Vitamin E and iodine protect against PUFA's as well but I guess to stop eating them is the best way to clear them from the system slowly but surely.
For the member of my family who most needs this all what we will do is the following for a few months and see what happens:
- Low A diet with mainly beef/sauerkraut
- Liters of Volvic water
- Epsom baths on a regular basis
If and when everything goes very well we will add A again to see what happens.
I will keep you informed on the results after a while.
Greetings,
Dino

I took Hubner silicea 500ml bottle(silicic acid) 196mg silicon per 15ml serving daily for about ~4months, forgot to mention that I use Fiji water daily as well. No real detox symptoms, but aluminum is supposed to cause issues with many reactions and enzymes in the body.
I really have no idea I got high in aluminum, cookwave is non-aluminum, nothing in the home environment...
