Weight loss?
Quote from Guest on February 10, 2019, 6:21 pmJust checking in. Anyone loosing weight? I seem to keep gaining. Maybe it’s just part of healing.

Quote from Judy on February 10, 2019, 6:28 pmI seem to be losing about a pound a week, and I don't want to! I'd rather gain a few pounds. I assume I'm losing the weight as the toxic vit A is released, but I'm not really sure that I'm actually succeeding with the protocol. I had one really good day in the beginning and then back to feeling yucky most of the time. I've been on the diet for about 4 weeks.

Quote from somuch4food on February 11, 2019, 9:22 amBe careful not to keep the dieting mentality. We have been educated to restrict calories to be healthy, but a healthy body won't keep on putting more weight than it needs.
Everybody should strive to eat to satisfaction. Sometimes you will need a second serving sometimes you leave sme food on the plate.
Respect your body signals.

So true. Health comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. We are not all meant to look like people on TV.

Quote from Guest on February 11, 2019, 11:21 amI agree I’m not at all restricting calories. I’m actually probably getting more than I need.

Quote from Mokus on February 26, 2019, 4:07 pmSo I don't count calories or own scales but I have noticed a change in my body since going low VA (4.5 months). My thighs are leaner and my pants are all too loose. As I have been getting some bloating in the tummy, I hadn't thought I had changed much re weight. I am thinking it will be gradual and therefore more long term, which is great. For me this is positive as I probably have about 10/15kg extra. The other thing I have noticed in the last few weeks is needing less food. I have been measuring out less rice to cook, as my meals have felt too much. I have also found that I don't have be too strict with my meal times, as my meals sustain me for longer.
I am seeing answers to my journey over the last 6 years of wanting a healthy balance of weight and way of living. At the time I was determined not to step into the culture of dietary calculations and restrictions. 180 degree health certainly helped give me a healthy approach to 'just eat the food' and seemed to cure me of a lifetime of 'needing to follow the healthy diet' etc. Now at age 50 I know the common thought is that extra weight is due to middle age however I have never thought health issues and weight are an age thing. Nice to see a glimmer at the end of the tunnel.
How is everybody else going?

I'm about the same as you and basically the same age too. People ask me if I've lost weight and I really haven't but my clothes fit differently and I think better. I've noticed that I don't need to eat as often either which is nice. It makes life more flexible.
