@orion, I experienced this. Anytime I took B5 I got a flare of what I did not know were VA symptoms.

Also it reversed any good I had done taking Biotin.

@ourania B5 and biotin are tricky do dose.  B5 definitely causes hair loss in higher doses, but lowers sebum production, and biotin will make people with oily skin go extremely oily.   There is a connection to fat metabolism, retinoic acid conversion and these B vitamins somewhere!

Maybe B5 could help speed up VA excretion

Thank you @orion. Maybe the unpleasant symptoms I get from B5 are a sign of VA excretion, but it does not feel nice. I much prefer excreting VA in the lymph.

@ourania  I need to try the cooling lymph protocol.   Also meant to say B5 hairloss above, fixed that!

imo it's pretty simple. isotretinoin is a type of retinoic acid. each type of retinoid has a certain level of toxicity in the body as each will have stronger binding affinities to vitamin a related receptors.

Retinoic acids >>>>>> retinyl esters/retinol/retinaldehydes/carotenoids as far as strength of receptor binding goes. retinyl esters/retinol/retinaldehydes/carotenoids still require conversion into it's 'final state' as retinoic (i'm calling it final state because supposedly it can't be back converted). so this is a rate limited process by how how many enzymes can be activated to carry out that conversion. also the amount of retinoic acid that is being created is most likely affected by a feedback loop, so that if you have too much retinoic acid, it will stop your enzymes from converting more retinoic acid [negative feedback loop].

Isotretinoin is already is in its most active form (a type of retinoic acid) and throwing all of it in your body once will start destroying processes immediately. your body simply won't let itself to create the amount of retinoic acid if you just intake all the precursors to retinoic acid vs intaking all the retinoic acid at once.

Wow I found mineral water that has for 1L 430mg of calcium. So 1.5L pet bottle will give my enough for the day. I think it is maybe the best way to get calcium. It doesn't give me any issues like calcium supplement and calcium in form of mineral water should be absorbed really well.. Hopefully I don't end up with kidney stones lol..

That is a good idea for calcium @jiri, is it a local brand.  I should check the labels at the market here.

@orion I don't know where you live. I am from Czech Republic and that brand is from Slovakia. But I am sure in every country you can buy high mineral content water.. https://gemerkavoda.cz/produkty/

@salt what you mean by calcium carbonate? Like they add calcium carbonate? Hm I hope not I will ask them..

Spring water, the kind that is relatively low in mineral content is tasty and healthy and can be consumed every day.

I don't think mineral water is healthy to consume regularly though, here is why:

Mineral water springs are pretty rare, most people in the past would have drunken mineral water very rarely or not at all. Mineral water contains toxins like bromine, strontium, fluorine, nitrate and sulphate. Mineral water may be healing to bathe in but I wouldn't recommend drinking a lot of it. In the past before testing became available people figured out which mineral water was safe to drink based on whether people had developed conditions like skeletal fluorosis from drinking it...
