Calcium
Quote from salt on July 3, 2020, 6:05 amQuote from tim on July 3, 2020, 5:51 amFluoride found in mineral water and in tea is present as calcium fluoride, this is the form found in nature. Although not as absorbable as sodium fluoride it is still highly absorbable. Skeletal fluorosis which is common in parts of the world is caused by consuming water high in calcium fluoride.
Somebody please find me some evidence showing that sweating helps to excrete significant amounts of pesticides, PCBs, mercury, fluoride, lead, glyphosate etc etc etc. Exercise makes us feel great, regardless of whether we sweat or not. Science has clearly and conclusively shown that sweating does not help us detox. Detox happens through bile and urine. Our body has elaborate ways of handling toxins, they don't normally just float around unattached ready to be sweated out.
@jiri
Half of the energy in sunlight is infrared, another benefit of sunbathing.
Tea has sodium fluoride. Calcium fluoride is much more stable and most of it is excreted, whereas sodium fluoride is very easily broken up into sodium and fluoride, so you'll get a lot more free fluorine flowing around in your body. Calcium is also the antidote to flourine. Spring waters having enough calcium fluoride to cause fluorosis is the exception rather than the rule. But it's definitely a good idea to get yourself informed about the fluoride content of whatever spring water you have access to before you make it your drinking water.

Quote from Jiří on July 3, 2020, 6:37 am@tim-2 it is hard to believe that you will not detox anything by sweating. Especially if it's sweating from moving your body not from sauna where you will dump good amount of waste from the cells.. Even if it's very small amounts. It will make a big difference overtime. Especially if your kidneys/liver function is impaired.. + like I said having "functional" clean and healthy skin where you can sweat easily from every spot on the body is a huge deal. It is related to lymphatic fluid etc.. Keeping all that moving + keeping lower body fat is very important. Once you are fat and all clogged up like most average people are. It is hard to fix.. That's why athletes recover from injuries etc.. much faster. They keep everything in "flow state". They don't have stored crazy amounts of toxins in body fat from decades ago like most people have.. Sweating is a huge part of that in my opinion..

Quote from lil chick on July 3, 2020, 7:28 amIt's interesting to think about the calcium issue here in VA-toxicity land. During VA-toxicity, It seems like calcium flats around, coming out of places you need it, and going places it shouldn't be. But then when you are normalizing, you are probably putting it back where you need it.
I used to say, BG (Before Grant), that I was always in tear-down mode. That was how I described my issues.
For health, tear-down mode and build-up mode must be balanced.

I agree and the reason is that when I put on a good sweat I itch for a few days. I'm experimenting now with quick rinses to get the sweat OFF immediately with little waiting time. My usual is to just shower once before bed but that might not be enough. Perhaps the idea of a heat rash is consistent with this.
Of course, we all may be different. I'm not really a sweaty type, and so it could be that I build up VA all winter waiting for a good sweat to come in spring. I've heard it said there is a gene for dry ear wax and less sweating and I def have the dry ear wax! It's the oddest thing. Ear wax more like a moth wing rather than a candle drip. There are theories that the non-sweating-dry-earwax gene may be about adaptation to dry climate? My guess is that the climate would probably have also been COOL. Sweat is important for HEAT.

Quote from Jiří on March 20, 2022, 12:53 pmI was reading this thread on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/magnesium/comments/hb10tv/a_lot_of_people_here_are_calcium_deficient/
and I think now I know why I have dry skin and muscle twitching like crazy last couple of months. It's simply calcium deficiency.. I hit basically every single RDA and for most vitamins minerals more than 200% of RDA, but for calcium I am always on like 20% of RDA so like 300mg a day.. Which is crazy low.. We have hard water here, but I use filter for the water so there are no toxins like chlorine, heavy metals, hormones, pesticides etc. but at the same time it lowers calcium content a lot.. I don't know what to eat to increase my calcium intake. I feel like every plant sources are not bioavailable and the only good source is dairy. But it seems like I have issues with the hormones in dairy. It seems like I should try some calcium supplement maybe calcium citrate?

Quote from Jiří on March 20, 2022, 1:58 pmYeah I already watched it on eshop where I buy supps. I will try it for sure.. My transparent teeth are even worse now after 3 years of low vit A diet. Maybe when I detoxed and had high levels in the blood it depleted even mor calcium from my body... I want up my intake to at least 600-800mg a day...
