Euthyroid means normal thyroid function. Euthyroid sick syndrome means abnormal thyroid hormone levels without being caused by a thyroid problem, it tends to occur when the body is under extreme stress such as starvation, infection or trauma.

@tim-2 as I showed photo my "dirty lymph" under the skin. I am sure that I have some infection, virus, bacteria issues.. But I don't want deal with doctors. Ask them for tests etc.. They see me as hypochondriac and every time I need to deal with doctors it is crazy stress for me.. I think I need to fix minerals/metals in my body and that will fix immune system and everything.. Most people don't realize how important minerals and metals are. They basically run the show..

You know @jiri, once my hubs said something to me that I thought was very astute.  It was:  "There is a reason we don't have a CRT display on our stomachs".

I totally get what you are saying about frustration with docs.  IMO docs are great with emergency medicine but suck at chronic problems.

Maybe things will straighten out over time, in this marathon.  Keep track of your symptom progress.  I think docs were better off back in the olden days when they diagnosed by symptoms rather than tests.

You could try to reach out to a functional medicin doctor.

Hi @jiri I also have viral issues. I tryed to figure out myself the source of my problems for 2 years, I learned a lot of things about how my body works, wich foods are better for me wich create symptoms ecc but I couldn't have never guessed that I have two active virus in me. I always heated doctors but latly I have found a new one that really took me seriously and it's a very good person.

In my expercience if you say to a doctor that you have multiple swollen lymph node since a lot of time they take you very seriously. Now the source cause of viral problems for me is still unknown and I will need to do further investigation.

Sometimes beeing able to trust somebody else to figure out your health problems is the best thing to do.

You should do hair analysis in good lab like ARL for sure.. I think it is very valuable info. Like I said people always think that their issues have some mysterious cause, but in most cases it is very simple. It is some toxicity and/or deficiency and/or imbalance of micronutrients and metals in the body.. Doing hair tests + blood tests ideally every 6 months at least and watching how they change. One test is useless you need to see pattern.. Human body runs on amino acids, minerals, some vitamins and fatty acids. So everyone should investigate that first. Before anything else. Because for example you will not fix anything if you are deficient in some micro mineral and toxic in another.. The body doesn't care if you want to be vegan, carnivore, doing sports so you have some extreme diet or you like only chips and coke so you eat only chips and coke.. The body needs all essential micronutrients in ideal amount and that is very hard to achieve especially now when everyone is eating some weird unnatural diet low in some micronutrients and high in others.. Doing hair tests is great way to learn what is going on in the body. So you can adjust your life style and/or diet to help the body keep balance(homeostasis)

@mattia it looks like copper and mercury issues + deficiency of selenium, chromium, manganese, molybdenum and some zinc and you wonder why you have viral issues etc.. It is all mineral/metal related.. Were you following their recommendations at all? Buy good quality chelated selenium, chromium, molybdenum, manganese. You will need also some vit C ( I am mixing acorbic acid with baking soda to make sodium ascorbate..) and B complex maybe you already take that.. If you take only zinc for example you are making your manganese, chromium deficiency worse. You need to take them all together. Take selenium with vit C in the morning. I take it after I wake up, drink 500ml, take 1tsp of psyllium powder with some more water(I don't eat legumes etc.. So I need fiber supplement..) on empty stomach.. After that like 20-30 min latter molybdenum with B vitamins with first meal. Manganese with chromium and zinc you can take together with another meal or you can take zinc with last meal before the bed. I am taking them together and before bed some calcium to calm down the body.. Keep in mind that by taking those minerals you will start detoxing mercury, copper and you will have probably racing mind like crazy, maybe some night sweats, acne etc.. ARL is recommendations big doses that can make things much worse. You need to start low especially with selenium and zinc. You are really low on selenium which is depleted by mercury. You can start with 100-200mcg and go up to 1mg a day.. For chromium it is important to have chelated form not picolinate or GTF. Chromium around 200-400mcg. ARL wants to take a lot more. But chromium can lower blood sugar so it is not optimal.. Just take 200-400mcg with high carb meal. I am takign it with sorghum pancake with some fruit.. I wouldn't take more than 10mg of manganese and 30mg of zinc a day. Molybdenum you can take 200-400mcg capsuls.. With diet eat a lot of protein for amino acids. At least 1,5g per every kg. Also don't eat brown rice with zinc, manganese and chromium. You will reduce absorbtion. I take it only with white rice and meat and be careful with copper intake. You shouldn't eat more than 2mg of copper a day from your diet.. Ideally around 1mg.. I stopped buckwheat. Too much copper. Nuts, seeds, legumes all crazy high in copper... Every time I lower my copper intake to minimum. Something is happening for sure. Like more copper toxicity symptoms. It is the same like when you start with low vit A having symptoms of vit A toxicity.. I would take this minerals at least 3 months and than do retesting... Your chemistry can change a lot during that time.. Do you have blood test for copper and ceruloplasmin?

I think dealing with doctors is stressful for anyone that is health conscious!

Hmm I'm not into trying to balance metals.

Have you ever looked into frequency medicine for viruses? Hulda Clarke, Rife etc?

@jiri Thank you for your reply. You seem to have experimented a lot with vitamins and minerals.

For my situation I don't know if supplementing those minerals would be beneficial. My idea is that there is some kind of issue that is constantly depleating minerals. It could be my two activated viral infections, mercury toxicity or an autoimmune problem. The viral infections are also activated my "something".

Maybe I will experiment more with minerals in a couple of months when I will have done more blood test to identify the source cause. Do you have some good quality products to suggest me? Is there a well made mineral complex?

My diet is very rich in protein and animal foods but also in fermented whole grains.
