I was having very bad hot flashes (just prior to finding Grant's work) and that ended with the vinegar cure.  I don't know why it works, potassium is one possibility, I suppose.  For some people it doesn't work.   For many it does.   I seem to only need one dose daily, I think this video calls for two doses.  I'm a little chick.

The surgery is still on, but looks like kidney is safe. Phew. What i would give to have them open me up just to find nothing wrong at all 🙏😁

Thanks for updating us, Liz! I was actually just thinking a couple of days ago what was going on with you. I guess I could have asked...:)

What a relief that you own't need to have your kidney removed and go on hormones! How urgent is it for you to have the surgery on your urethra? Could you try to delay it a couple of months to see if the detox starts helping.

About the zeolite: 3 tsp/day is more than the 2 tsp/day that Dr. Smith recommends. What you might do is start out with 1/2 tsp twice a day and see how you feel on that after a week or so. Ease back into it.

Yes, I think for many people the detox is taking much longer than initially hoped. Sounds like you're headed in the right direction!

Edit : I want to add that I have had increased nightly sweats for the past 3-4 weeks. Sweating like a marathon runner and only during the night. I thought it was hornonal the first week but when period came and went and sweating remained, I thought it might be a detox thing. I remember dr G has listed somewhere changes in sweat, whether it being amount or odor, is an expected detox symtom. I am starting to have a feeling I wont be done detoxing for at least another ten years or so 😂

This is what helped my night sweats, that were an ongoing event over the last decade.  Simple to try, and hopefully safe for you with kidney issues.   Getting extra or more potassium.   ~4.5 grams of potassium is the daily RDA, I find that when I didn't get this = mega night sweats.   I think most of us do not hit the RDA.   I think this balances against sodium in the cell, and the body doesn't need to sweat like crazy to balance it.

So now I just mix up a bottle of water with potassium and magnesium chloride, so that a sip would have about 2grams of K, and take a sip in the morning and sip before bed.  This finally ended all night sweats.

Glad to hear the kidney is safe!

Great tip Orion, thanks! Will look into my daily potassium. Past two nights have been fine though, weirdly enough.. What kind of K did you get? Just any powder? Mg I use topically daily. Havent noticed anything specific except less calf cramps

Oh they still want me on hormones 😂😂 it is me who is refusing. Threatening with all kinds of horrible things to scare me into taking it.. Last night I found a blog belonging to a young girl with endo. She listed all different kinds of hormones they had tried on her, gnrh included (tripple dose) to shut down her hormones. Nothing had worked, nothing. All had made her pain and endo even worse. I am not going that road. I felt so sorry for her. At least I have no pain at all and I am insanely grateful for that. Hormones are supposed to remove the pain and "dry out" the leisures. Supposed to.

The surgery wont happen that fast, i will probably have to wait for X amount of months before they make that happen. I have the stomy so I am no longer a critical case I suppose.. So anything can happen in the meantime 🙂

Dr G is recommended 3 tsp when in a detox period, i have read on the zeolite sites that usually 3 tsp is recommended for illnesses but I will start with the little spoon in the container x 3 and increase slowly if I can tolerate it. Slow and steady wins the race.

@lil-chick thank you for the acv tip. I do not have hot flashes but will look into it 🙂

Thanks for the updates @Liz! I’m happy you are hanging in there decently and have such an optimistic attitude. You are very strong and inspiring.

I purchased bulk KCl from purebulk, but you can also get extra potassium chloride from using the NoSalt substitutes you can usually find at the supermarket.

Liz, I guess in my mind I lump the two (hot flashes and night sweats) together.

from the google machine:

Menopausal hot flashes are sudden feelings of intense body heat that can occur during the day or night. Night sweats are periods of heavy sweating, or hyperhidrosis, associated with hot flashes that occur at night. ... They're your body's reactions to the hormonal changes associated with perimenopause and menopause.

I have at least one friend who only flashes at night...  Personally I would agree that they are some sort of detox, even when a person isn't going through vit A withdrawal.

My intuition is that something is happening in the gut with the vinegar that is doing the magic.   And not in some far-away hormonal place.  I don't know why I think that though.  Maybe because the fix works so quickly.

Thanks Josh.  I have Garretts vit A package I'm just having trouble finding oils / fats that fit his criteria.  The oils he recommends are not available in the UK.

Leaders in the nutritional oil world.

Hey John, still taking udo? Any positive benefits? I barely started but gave it up, remembering how badly I react to soy and budwig protocol, I am too afraid to take the risk of endo growing back :/

Hi Liz - I'm using Flora's sunflower oil for Omega 6, plus a bit of their hemp oil for the Omega 3 part of the equation. Mostly because of how important they are for building cell membranes, among other things. Nothing in particular to report. I also take liposomal Phosphatidyl Choline from BodyBio and also from QuickSilver. That has helped cognition for me and my 93 year old mother-in-law. Per the hemp oil label - each TBSP gives: 7 grams of Omega 6 - 2.5 grams of Omega 3 - 2.o grams of Omega 9 - 500 mg of GLA - 250 mg of Omega 3 SDA. I alternate the two, and don't supplement every day with them. Interestingly, the thing that has proven itself more than anything else, including red/infrared sessions, is a bed sheet that has some silver thread and a grounding lug. Charge is important, especially for those of us in northern climes. Here's a piece of the puzzle from a guy who might go down in history. http://milesmathis.com/solen.pdf  I've been reading his updates on this and they correlate with how I've been feeling. If you can plow through it, there's light at the end of the tunnel for us in the next few months. It might help folks on the blog here understand set-backs they've experienced for reasons other than diet. Hang in there my friend. Oh yeah, we also elevated the head of our bed by about 5 inches and it's pretty cool, other than a bit of a slide most nights. Helps with moving digestive stuff in the right direction. Also using a lot of charcoal and bentonite, early morning and late night, and I can tell the difference when I remember to do them. Also using a good bit of liposomal glutathione and my liver seems to be functioning better. And last but not least, I don't think I ever mentioned that I use a mini-trampoline regularly (one day recently for 4 hours while I watched YouTube documentaries). It's great for the lymphatic system. I'm going to try Chris Shade's QuickSilver liver detox package called PushCatch. I watch all of his videos and I think it's worth using combo formulas designed to match what the science is telling us about the various enzymatic and other pathways. As always, the proof's in the pudding, so I'll let you know how it goes there.

John, I'm in the market for a grounding sheet or mat.  Any recommendations?  Do you use an outside stake or wall outlet connection?    Thanks!!

@lil-chick sweats and menopause I guess is logical but I can 100% tell you I am not menopausal or perimenopausal. if anything it could be messed up hormones after my surgery jan 31st from which my cycle is still recovering. I am however pretty confident it is detox. 🙂

Noticed yesterday when wearing a white dress sweat stains were yellow in one armpit 🙄. Just one side. Also have still not had new night sweats in 4 days or so now so they might be gone.

@bella I thought life sucked  pretty hard the first week after I got the nephrostomy 😂 and I was pretty pissed at the doctors for giving me one which I also let them know loud and clear. So I am human, I promise 😂 But I have chosen to remain positive letting God deal with this. Which has helped a lot 🙂

@orion of course!! Did not think of the bulk stores. I use myprotein, will order some right away 🙂
